Very Good
The staff was helpful, and there’s a bus that leaves for the city center right in front of the hotel which was very convenient
The ambiance is not great and it’s on a busy street

Very Good
The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities and the Superior Double Room also includes a fridge so that was helpful to make our own refreshments.
The room wasn’t ready but we arrived early and on the dot of the Check In time we were given our key.
There is a sofa and a couple of chairs available at reception if you are waiting.
There was fruit infused water available at Reception.
It was just before Christmas and the hotel was tastefully decorated and there are places to eat close bu so the location is great. You can also get a bus into town which guests who were going to the ChristmasMarket were doing.
The breakfast is plentiful with lots of variety. I would recommend this.
Despite being a Superior Room overlooking the garden area rather than the front road, the windows are not insulated properly so there is a lot of road noise. It is a busy road out the front but thankfully it was quiet enough to sleep at night.
The shower screen leaked where it was attached to the wall tiles, this was reported to Reception. This meant the bathroom floor became waterlogged regardless of how careful you were.
I do not agree with having to pay for parking. It is €8 a night and when you are not in the town centre and have already paid a considerable amount for your room, I believe this is penny pinching and should be included. That is just my personal opinion.

Good
The breakfast was good
The employee tried to speak in French.
I could understand her
1) The bathroom needs to redesigned
2) If you want to drive to Aachen city center, you need a special pass (this is not the fault of the hotel, but for foreign customers like me, it is not convenient).

Good
The comfort room we stayed in was spacious and warm and the beds were really comfortable. Unfortunately we had booked a Superior Room which I questioned reception about.
The receptionist was polite and took time to explore the options and unfortunately the hotel was fully booked and he could not offer us a Superior Room.
We had booked via Booking.com and could double check the standard of room we expected and the cost and we had clearly been given the comfort room instead which faces the main road rather than the garden/courtyard.
I am glad I checked and it was just something in the back of my mind that reminded me that Superior Rooms do not face the road.
We were financially compensated and this was done in an efficient and polite manner.
I would suggest that perhaps another guest might not have realised this error if they arrive tired after a long day of travel and are not aware of the differences.
We cannot fault the action taken and the manner in which it was done but we are going back next month and I have clarified that this time, I would like the Superior Room that I have booked and paid for.
The Hotel has a good selection of Restaurants close by.
Be aware, it is €8 for overnight parking.
The Restaurant wasn’t open but thankfully there were plenty of options close by.

Pleasant
On-site parking, roomy bathroom, clean.
Not a single (working) English tv channel. Power socket between the beds didn't work.

The room in general met the expectations, it was nice to have coffee in the room, the only downside is that there was too little Sugar and creamer to have a second cup. Breakfast i cannot comment on as we did not use the Breakfast offering and rather opted to have breakfast in the city centre which was half the cost of what a couple would pay at the Hotel.
The beds and pillows where too soft, i did not sleep as well as expected because my own bed is much harder than what we experienced in the room. I think for the location the value is slightly out of line with expectations. I have paid less for accommodation closer to the city centre in other locations before.

Very Good
Overall, the accommodation was good, with a good location and facilities. Friendly staff and on-site parking.
Overall, the accommodation was good, but there could have been more pillow options (they were very soft) and the blackout curtains did not block out the light from the window. No room service available.

Location was great! It was very clean.
Room was small. Couldn't leave a suitcase case open. 2 flights of stairs up and 1 more down to get to our room. Steps down were awkward size.
