When we arrived at the reception, we paid for the Ibis parking and parked our car. Around 22h, the receptionist woke us up with a call to say that they made a mistake and we had to park on the street, then they would give us the money back. We found it very unprofessional and were even fined because the ticket payment machine on the street wasn't working.

Convenient location for train travelers. Also a short walk to the center. I had a quiet room facing the parking lot. Reception was warm and welcoming. The room seemed to be newly renovated. Fresh and clean. Elevator, luggage, storage and 24/7 reception were all important to my stay.

Good location as it is close to the city center and there are parking facilities.
The stay was very disappointing. After check-in we were given keys to our room. One of us was showering when to our shock another guest walked into our room because the front desk had mistakenly assigned it to someone else. This was extremely embarrassing and unacceptable. We reported it to the front desk guy and asked them to make sure it didn’t happen again. Mistakes can happen but unfortunately the same thing happened later that night. Someone else was again given a key to our room. We felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. To make matters worse the front desk guy showed no remorse and seemed completely unbothered by the situation. That kind of attitude is not okay in a hotel setting, the man was very unprofessional. Thankfully one of the staff members, a German woman, was very kind and helpful which is the only reason I'm giving this place a 2 instead of a 1. Even though it was not her mistake, she handled the situation with the professionalism that was otherwise missing. Also worth noting the cleaning staff in the morning knocked and opened the door immediately without waiting for a response. That’s another serious privacy issue. I would not recommend staying here if you value privacy and safety.
