Rooms are spacious and tidy. Breakfast correct. Good location outside city center. Convenient to have restaurant in hotel serving good food.
Missed fruit at breakfast. Restaurant fully booked in weekend, we were lucky to get a table, but would be good to inform hotel guests upfront to make reservations. No elevator.

Restaurant super nice, super nice staff.
Staff speaks only German, but they still tried to accommodate me. Dogs allowed in hotel and restaurant. Many hikes pass through, reservation for restaurant recommended

This was a stop-over hotel as far as we were concerned and, for that, it was fine. Our bedroom was new, modern and impressive including the ensuite. Staff were efficient but I wouldn't say they overwhelm you with charm and warmth. The establishment is perfectly perfunctory: nothing more.
The other reason for selecting the hotel was it had a restaurant which we could use without having to search for something after a late arrival. The food was OK but I'd advise - subject to your time of arrival - to seek out local alternatives. That will require a car though - since I suspect you wouldn't want to walk from here into central Aachen at night. Also if you're into finding yourself a comfortable part of a bar and bedding in for a post-prandial drink or two, think again. Staff seem to want you out and in bed by 10...or it felt that way :-) You decide if that's your bag, of course.
The parking was fine and soon empties once restaurant guests have left, so I think you'll be guaranteed a parking place. The parking is open but it's at the end of a small access road so you shouldn't get too much passing traffic at night: you border open country. We don't do breakfast so can't comment on that.
Staff did an efficient job but there wasn't much real warmth which I suspect starts at the top and filters down. Probably local, regulars may get a warmer welcome but, in all, things worked and all was fine. Would we rush back, however? No.

Plenty of space, excellent bed, plumbing, windows, views, small fridge.
Also, the restaurant has a wide selection & is of pretty high quality.
Very beautiful location & a good compromise for drivers wanting parking, while still close to town. There is a bus.
Breakfast ok, but odd. Coffee served at table, the rest self-service. Feels overstaffed.
The hotel is a mixed bag & your views will depend on what matters most to you.
Airconditioning & lift, both absent. In some cases this may be a disadvantage.
I will admit that I recognise the comments that some staff have a strange manner, but that is not a problem to me - they didn't do anything wrong lol :)
It seems geared above all to locals on staycation. As this is right on top of the tri-state point you might expect it to have a more "all Europe" vibe. However, expect it to be like a rural, local type of place where the assumption is that you know German.
Some would expect a kettle & coffee in the room which there isn't.
I did not check whether complimentary coffee was available elsewhere.
I felt the strengths of this hotel were delightful, but I felt entitled to them for the price.

Large room which looked like it had just been decorated- light and airy. As we thought we were some distant from the centre we decided to eat in their restaurant. Well patronised by I assume locals. We both had a lovely meal the outside areas were also neat and tidy. It was a sunny day when there and it was very pleasant sitting outside. The breakfast was more than sufficient with quite a wide selection and with typical strong German coffee. Must also mention the staff were also first class and very helpful As we stay in Aachen every year and have stayed in a variety of not so good places. This will be our go to one in future
My wife has limited mobility and whilst they warned us on booking there is no lift, so that was a bit of a challenge but one well worth taking against all the positives. Not a complaint more information - if putting the address in a sat nav include the building number. We just put in town and postcode and at the flag was surrounded by trees. Solved by adding the house number.
