Welcoming staff; comfortable room; quiet despite being opposite lift - clearly well insulated from other rooms; staff happily supplied a second duvet for my partner to use to support her back; good breakfast buffet - room to move around. Easy access to the nearby Lousberg and Müschpark for walking trails. We like the option not to have the room cleaned daily but on request.
Perhaps a little farther from the city centre than we had anticipated although still easily walkable.
Didn’t like the low chairs (or the fashionable ‘perch’ high chairs) in the breakfast area - sat on the bench seats instead.

The room and bed were extremely comfortable - sad to leave after just 1 night! Good breakfast spread as well with plenty of options for sweet and savoury. Staff were friendly and helpful with information when we had questions.
A bit of a long walk from downtown Aachen so maybe not an ideal location for some, but it was straightforward and very safe.

Ee have been here many times already. As always great stay, nice staff, great location. Stayed with 2 dogs there.
This time the breakfast was increadible busy and although the staff worked very hard to cope with all the people it looked they should be sone extra hands available to clear out the plates.
Another thing that wasn’t great was that when the cleaning staff who cleaned the rooms where there it really didn’t smell as it should in a hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Suffering from stomach discomfort, I ordered Chinese takeaway and asked reception to warm my meal for me.
One staff member first told me guests were not allowed to use the microwave, then claimed there was no microwave on site at all. Left with no other choice, we had to walk out of the hotel in the rain to find somewhere that could heat our dinner for us. Fortunately, the hotel just opposite was kind enough to help us warm the food.
Surprisingly, only after we had finished eating, another front‑desk employee came and said they could help warm the food.
We were really disappointed by the contradictory information and poor guest service. The inconsistent replies from the team show a lack of professionalism. We had expected better treatment during our stay.
