Decent location, solid standard of room for the price
Staff were very unfriendly and unprofessional - examples include a woman rebuking me for having the audacity to move a bottle of ketchup onto my breakfast table. When I went to check out, the man working asked me my room, and then when I told him the phone went & he answered the phone and ignored me!
Bathroom not particularly clean, particularly the shower area. Sofa was stained.
Climate lecturing as soon as you step into the lift (see photo). Don’t want to hear their greenwashing when it’s simply due to them wanting to save money dressed up as sustainability.
Parking extortionately priced.
Having stayed at Hampton by Hilton in many European cities and generally finding them good, this was the worst one I’ve experienced.

Bed was comfortable(though pillows were not) & parking was easily available in the garage for 20 Euros.
King room didn't feel like a king room. Was wondering how small would be the Queen Room. There was only 1 set of towels for the 2 of us. Only delivered another set of towels when requested from Reception. There was no restaurant but only Bar with some light food items was available. Breakfast could have been better. Meatballs & Rosti's were cold and not enough options were available.

You charged me twice and I did write and phone to you and you said you reimburse me and I did not receive any money.
Very difficult to talk to you. You do not understand English or you do not want to provide me a bank statement as proof for reimbursement of the money charged twice. I have sent you my bank statements as proof of double charge and I get only a row from a table with some figures, not a bank statemet. Probably you do not know what this is a bank statement.

We came to Aachen for the thermal baths and the hotel was a very short walk from there, and then a 30 minute walk to the station the next day. The rooms were comfortable and clean, if a little warm and stuffy.
The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options. I especially enjoyed the station for making your own waffles.
The hotel advertised that it had a restaurant on site, so we planned to eat dinner there upon arrival. We got there at about 20:00 only to be told that they only serve bar snacks. The hotel is located outside the ring of the city, so there are no restaurants nearby. We were able to order pizza to have in our room, but it was a disappointment not to enjoy a proper meal at the end of a day of travelling. I would suggest amending what is advertised on the website.
We also found 230 EUR for one night to be quite high for a standard chain hotel in a small city like Aachen.

The position was very suitable for work and I could walk easily into town for evening meals and after work shopping
The wifi was a bit slow once it had been set up and the bed was firmer than I would have liked. Otherwise everything else was excellent even the slightly changing breakfast options each day
