The breakfast, the staff, our bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning in our room, the rooftop bar.
Our bathroom (there was no stand up shower - you had kneel in a bath). The location was actually very dodgy too. While the hotel was centrally located, being close to Wenceslaus Square and the Old Town meant we were close to the dodgy and dangerous people that hang around. This surprised us, as last time I was in Prague it wasn't that bad. On our first night my husband and I went for a walk and we saw blood-covered drug addicts, hookers, lots of weed shops, drunk idiots, and lots of police (which I suppose is a good thing). I know the hotel can't control any of this, but the current rating on Booking.com is misleading in my view - saying it is in a 'good area' is just plain wrong.

Very old hotel 1866 built. But adapted to a hotel in 1896. Tiny lift. Wonderful curved staircase. Tiny reception area and breakfast room.

The only think that I didn't like in this hotel was the noise from the street. Our room was facing the Museum and the street that is between the 2 buildings is very busy. We can hear the sirens of the police cars and ambulances very clear through the night.

Very centrally located at top of Wenceslas Square, area very quiet at night and fantastic selection at breakfast time.Terrace bar on fifth floor has amazing views.
Some of the photos on booking.com do not reflect actual rooms on the ground - we requested and got a room change shortly after check-in. Hotel is old worlde charm - traditional Czech hotel.
