The Unitas Hotel enjoys a quiet location in a former convent, 820 feet from Charles Bridge. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free internet, a DVD player and a film library. Built by the Jesuits, it was later transformed into a nunnery, during the Communist period it housed the secret police and finally it was transformed into a hotel.

Exceptional
The front desk and breakfast staff made us truly feel like we were their guests. We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine - a nice touch after a day of travel. The hotel is within walking distance to the river and to the main square, but on a quiet side street. And the hotel has a great history, too. Loved every minute of our stay.

The staff were wonderful - friendly and gave valuable advice when asked. It was a nice touch to know who cleaned the room too. There was no nighttime noise, so sleep was very peaceful.

Location was great! Walkable to the tram, restaurants and main center.
The rooms are spacious. Beds / pillows are comfortable. Windows have black-out shades. Complementary water bottles. Water pressure in shower is fantastic! Breakfast areas is beautiful and food was great. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room was big, exceptionally clean and tidy, services were on point and breakfast was rich and tasty. Location is great, in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything in the city by walking distance. The staff and their services were perfect, they helped us with phone calls and recommendations. They even found a golden necklace that we forgot after checking out and made sure that we receive it back. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences that we have had. Highly recommended!

Great location, nice staff. Generally OK apart from points below.
For a hotel with such a good rating and at the price, I would have expected better coffee in the room than undrinkable basic instant Nescafe and a kettle, or if this wasn’t possible, to have some better available in the reception area. (If it is we weren’t told) Also the shower wasn’t good. Just a basic single hand held which we couldn’t hang up as it was too high. No shelf inside the shower on which to place toiletries.
