The Union hotel is located next to the old walls of the impressive Vysehrad Castle, close to the center of Prague and only a 5-minute walk from the Prague Congress Center. Built in Art Noveau style in the early 1900s, the hotel was last renovated in 2018. Most rooms have air conditioning and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. Guests can also enjoy national beers at the bar. There is also an internet cafe. Trams 18 and 24 offer access to the historical center within 10 minutes.

Close to the center, public transport is easy to reach cause there is a tram station right in front of the hotel
Why put a coffee machine when you can’t even provide a complimentary coffee or tea or even water? Even at hostels, they have those ready at kitchen areas

Short walking distance from Congress Centre. 30min walk to Old Town. Good adjacent restaurant. Well maintained room temperature despite outside being cold.
Room needs some minor attention to state of repair such as broken wall electrical socket and paint work. Bathroom needs better ventilation.

Nice and quiet room, window directed to backyard. Very hospitable ladies at the reception.
Toilet seat too close to shower cabin, you need to sit diagonally.

I really appreciated the location—it made getting around via public transport super easy. The staff were also very welcoming and happy to help, which was the best part of the experience.
​Heating: The room was very cold as the heating wasn't functioning. With temperatures outside hitting 0–3°C, it was quite difficult to sleep.
