Right in Old Town Square across from the Astronomical Clock, the uniquely styled Hotel U Prince Prague by BHG is in a completely renovated 12th-century building. The hotel is so charming. All the decor is in a old style that gives it such a charm. The room is beautiful and everything comfortable, we had a view over the square and could see and hear the Astronomical clock´s ringing form our window. This is the best location in Prague in our opinion as it is on the historical square and 5 minutes from the bridge. They have 2 restaurants, both great. They also have one of the best bar in Europe and it is like no other experience to visit the bar. The bartenders do making of a drink into art form and it is a fun show to sit and watch them. They also have live music and a visit here is once in a life time going for a drink experience.
The only thing we didn´t like about the room is the lack of lighting in the room. It is a bit too dark and we found ourselves with the light form our phone, to find things in the room. It is also disadvantage that there is a high bath tub and not a shower. The breakfast is all very tasty but the problem is when we arrived 30 minutes before it was due to end, so many of the food was finished. We needed to ask for a lot of the food that we wanted and it all came after few minutes, but it would have been better not having to ask for 5-7 things at breakfast.

First of all, the location of the hotel is unbeatable because it is in the very heart of Old Town, with a view of the Astronomical Clock. That being said, it was always quite crowded outside the hotel entrance, but we expected that. We stayed in a double room on the top floor of the hotel which had a view of the clock from its tiny window. We felt like we were staying in a cute little attic room! It was clean and comfortable. The entrance to Terasa U Prince was located right next to our room and had a constant long line to get into the infamous rooftop bar with the incredible view. We chose to go the next morning when it opened at 11am and only had to show our room key to get access and take our pictures. The buffet breakfast that was included with our stay was very good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and wish we had been able to stay a night or 2 longer!
-Not really a negative, but because the hotel is located in a pedestrian zone, if arriving by Uber, Bolt, Taxi, etc you will be dropped off/picked up at the outer edges of the square and will need to haul your luggage over the cobblestones through the crowds of tourists. -Our tiny room was so cute and quaint, but the bed only had access from one side. Not a big deal for us, but could be challenging for others.
