This hotel is in a great location,very central for exploring round about. The hotel looks amazing and is laid out perfectly. The staff are all very nice and very helpful. The Spa is small but beautiful and we would thoroughly recommend taking a massage...it was just fabulous!. The food and drink is amazing and of a 5 star quality. The breakfast selection is fabulous and more options are available if you require. The bedroom was a great size and decorated perfectly. We were upgraded to a deluxe suite which was fabulous with the extra lounge area! It was cleaned to perfection & the room was refreshed every day. Cannot fault this hotel and it's staff at all. Everything was just perfect and we had an amazing stay! Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

When I complained at checkout, the staff handled the situation professionally and management later sent me an email. However, as I already said on site: mistakes can happen anywhere, but broken fixtures, filthy carpets and flickering lights are not mistakes, they are the result of management tolerating low standards over a long period of time. This stay was far from the 5-star experience one should expect in Prague, and unless significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend The Grand Mark Prague. I would provide an 7/10 rating for a 3 Star Hotel for carpets, smell, broken bathroom and cleaning standard
For the past 20 years, I have been visiting Prague and stayed in many different 5-star hotels. This was my first stay at The Grand Mark Prague and unfortunately it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. For the high price I expected true 5-star quality and service, yet what I found was a clear lack of maintenance, attention to detail and overall management standards. The room I received had a scratched floor, curtains that could not be closed completely – leaving an artificial blue light from the courtyard shining into the room all night – a flickering bathroom lamp and an rather loud air conditioning unit. The so-called coffee and hot water corner was hidden in a tiny niche inside the wardrobe, something I would expect from a budget hotel but certainly not from a luxury property. Even worse, the soap dispenser was broken and still not functional the next day, the shower’s soap holder was completely cracked with screws sticking out of the wall, and the toiletries were cheap, sloppily refilled large bottles instead of sealed, high-quality products. Cleanliness was below standard. The toilet seat still showed visible cleaning marks that clearly suggested a careless wipe rather than proper hygiene. The hallway carpets were in a disgusting condition, full of stains, and more in line with a neglected two-star establishment than with a supposed five-star hotel. Issues like flickering light bulbs, cracked fixtures and water-damaged bathroom screws do not appear overnight, they accumulate over weeks or even months – and this demonstrates a serious lack of management oversight. Equally disturbing was the cheap, overly sweet perfume scent that the hotel seems to use excessively throughout the entire property. It was not only unpleasant inside the building but already noticeable from the street, and instead of creating a luxurious atmosphere it made the entire stay uncomfortable.

Great location and great bed and conditions and great staff .
But the bathroom had a very annoying smell they could not rid of maybe because of the old system . When you enter the hotel a humid - hot smell meets you so they need to solve the smell issue otherwise a very good hotel. The entrance and lobby need to be more welcoming

Beautiful hotel and great accommodating staff. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite, given early check-in and late check out as it was available, and enjoyed the lovely relaxing spa, including an excellent massage. Highly recommended.

I've never written a review or rating of this kind before, but the hotel was so wonderful that I decided to write one for the first time. While the building has a very historic feel, the facilities are new, clean, and impeccable. The room was large with a high ceiling, and the bed and sofa were all spacious, as were the closet, vanity, shower, bathtub, and toilet. The staff were all very kind and polite. The lobby setting and fresh flower decorations were particularly impressive, and the outdoor seating in the restaurant faced the courtyard, which was a lovely place with many peacocks pacing gracefully. The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying, with a wide variety of hot dishes, vegetables, fruit, bread, juice, and desserts. An elderly man played live piano every morning, and the music was wonderful.
