This hotel is a real gem near The Charles Bridge, in Malá Strana. Stayed here for four nights righ after the Easter Holidays and the location couldn't be better. To most of the places you can simply just walk and also the tram stop is very near. It's located on a peaceful street. However, there's a bar very near (just downstairs) and because of this you can hear people speaking loudly quite late, but mostly only during the weekend. I had ear plugs just in case, but didn't need them! You can also ask for a quieter room, when you make a reservation.
The decoration is rather old-fashioned, but definitely in a good way. I loved my room, where I had a super comfy bed, minibar and a bathtub. I also loved the personnel! All of them were super friendly and helpful and extremely warm and welcoming. Especially the guy in the reception, who gave me so many good recommendations and a girl named Anya, who was working in the breakfast room. The breakfast is also very delicious with plenty of options. When I return to Prague again, I will definitely book a room from this hotel and I can highly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel is very beautiful, romantic, clean. They change towels and clean every day, they change bed linen every 2-3 days. You can reach all the sights on foot. Of the staff, Peter especially helped us with everything, he was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was good. In any case, a good choice.
It's not about the hotel, but... I'm surprised by the rudeness of the locals... waiters, saleswomen, taxi drivers... they don't like tourists at all, they were unpleasant and even behaved meanly. It's a real shame.

Clean, comfortable friendly hotel. Location is excellent - 150m from the Male Strana end of the Charles Bridge. A couple of minutes walk from tram and bus stops. A short walk into the old town and close to Prague Castle and the Petrin Tower.
Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in an old building but has been tastefully refurbished.
Staff were friendly and helpful, without exception.
Breakfast was excellent -buffet style plenty of choice.
Lots of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk.
Great value. Ok so it's a basic B&B hotel, but is well run by people who obviously care.

The property was in a great location, the staff was great, the room was clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast was wonderful. My wife’s birthday fell on the third day we were there and they left a small bottle of champagne and two dessert cakes in our room with a wonderful little note. I didn’t ask them to do that or prompt them whatsoever, they just noticed the birthday on the booking and did it on their own.

The Charles was a lovely hotel and the location was excellant, a stones throw away from the Charles Bridge. The breakfast was also great. The only small thing was the small bathroom with nowhere to store your amenities. Staff were wonderful, otherall a lovely hotel.

Location near the Charles Bridge was excellent, Staff at check in were professional friendly and helpful
They was nothing I could really moan about the Hotel does it's job , maybe put a bathmat in the Bath i always slipped using it the first time
