This hotel is a gem! The location is perfect. The room was really confortable with the best shower we've ever experienced. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Saving the best for last, the reception staff are perhaps the nicest we've ever dealt with. After a very difficult time travelling which led to missing two days of our stay, their thoughtfulness was so appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel.

Perfectly located next to the famous Charles bridge, it has rooms atop of its restaurant. Mine was unexpectedly spacious, at the last floor - still quite warm, but pleasant at night (there is a ventilator, no AC - but I did not feel the need). Huge bathroom with bathtub, all this at an acceptable price! In spite of being in the tourist zone, it was very quiet at night... for most of the time! They kindly offer a discount for dining in the restaurant, but I could not use it as dinners were already planned...
When you are sleeping atop of a restaurant... expect alcohol-induced shouting to wake you up, even at the top floor, as far as possible from the "source" (in this context, I was not at all unhappy to climb the stairs - there is no elevator). But this happened only on Sun. night.

The staff was so welcoming! Our bags were carried upstairs to our room. As we walked through the restaurant to the stairs everyone greeted us. They were every personable through out our entire stay, often stopping to have a conversation with us. The room was beautiful and the location was great.

Great location. Clean and nice, modern finishes. Spacious for Duro standards! L’Occitane toiletries and slippers available.
Some design features didn’t take the user in mind - no hooks, shelves, awful hair dryer. VERY loud overnight - echoes from street. Steep stairs to get to room.

Great location, the staff was wonderful and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is beautiful as is the restaurant, and the beds are very comfortable. Our room had a complimentary lovely fruit plate, bottled water, and champagne which was a very nice surprise.
Our original room was on the 4th floor and there wasn’t an elevator. I had an ankle injury and was in a walking boot so the staff was kind enough to move us to a first floor room, as the long flights of steps were very difficult for me. Unfortunately, the new room was atop the restaurant which played very loud dance music with a heavy beat that was felt and heard in our room. The hair dryer in our original room didn’t work and the hotel didn’t have a replacement or a fix. The holder of the handheld shower head in our second room was broken which we discovered when turning the shower on and having cold water spray everywhere. The hair dryer only worked on the low setting and would overheat immediately if turned to high.
