Disappointing
Location is great
Bathroom was horrible. Very small en very old. Sitting in de lounge of the hotel and waited 45 minutes before somebody arrives. Staff very lazy and friendly. Lady behind the bar brushing her hair. Arriving in de hotel at 22.00 hours and cleaning lady playing with her phone with cleaning towel in her other hand. This hotel definitely is not deserving a 5 star. By far.

Staff and breakfast was nice
The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, and the overall interior of the room was disappointing. The room did not have a kettle to heat water, even though tea was provided. We had to call three times to get one, and when it was finally delivered, it was rusty.

Beautifully, clean and comfortable. Effortlessly relaxing. The staff couldn't do enough for you especially Kareem (Karim) who was a pleasure to have looking after us at the hotel reception lounge.
We were initially booked into the 5th floor but requested a move due to the loudness of the upstairs bar coming through the roof. In fairness the requested was met swiftly and without fuss.

Room large and great views, breakfast plentiful, Prosecco too ! Location perfect.
Had to climb into a high bath for shower. Wooden step broken in room.

The hotel was well situated. The room was comfortable with great views over the river. We enjoyed sitting in the window seat watching the world go by.
The pool area was a bit odd. Felt a bit creepy with little booths of couples hanging out. Gym area was very small.

Very Good
The rooms were clean and pretty good in general. We reserved the room with King size bed and river view, well the bed was barely a double bed, after checking with reception they had another free room on the same floor which they gave us and everything was done pretty fast, They mentioned that it is not counted as "river view room" but after checking the room it was in fact much better because instead of having a direct view of river and small bed, we got a River view and city view room (beautiful) with King size bed.
The Breakfast was very good and with high quality and everything was well organized.
- The mattress was tilted (over use).
- Although the pictures show the facilities with "Rituals" cosmetics, they were actually a simple routing refill able hotel soaps and shampoo.
- The pool area has 2 showers in the locker room. 1 shower's sealing needs to be fixed and the other shower's door is broken so it basically doesn't close more than half...

Changed the room 3 times we had superior room with a view to the castle but it all of those room face cobbled busy street, so sound was an issue, though staff did their upmost best to find us the best quite room facing back streets.

The location, views & bedroom size.
Bathroom size too small for bedroom size. Pool had a strange odor which we notified the staff of and they investigated.

Rooms immaculate. Whole hotel spotless. Attentive restaurant staff and doorman. Great pool, luke warm and lovely mood lighting decor.
No kettle or iron and ironing board in room (for a five star hotel)
