Great staff, very helpful allowing us to store our bags and use their shower facilities as we were doing the half marathon. Breakfast not ideal for runners though there is a microwave etc so you could prep your own.
Just a 15 mins walk to the start/finish line for the half marathon, very convenient.
Beds were lacking... Mattresses and pillows were thin, but slept fine.

The hostel's location is completely outside the tourist zone (Praha 7-Holešovice), which only adds to the authenticity of your stay in Prague. Nonetheless, the tram connection, proximity to the metro, and just 3 km to the city centre make it very convenient to move around.
The nearest vicinity offers a wide range of shops, markets and eateries where you can stock up on necessities. The hostel offers a breakfast buffet (7:00-10:00) for a reasonable price (around € 9), which those who wish can take advantage of - a quite good meal to start your day. Personally, I recommend dropping in for a meal at the nearby Bageterie Boulevard.
The rooms are spacious and have a shower and toilet. The beds are comfortable, and the duvets are clean and fresh. There are lockers for private items (bring your own padlock or rent one at the Reception). Magnetic card entry.
An undoubted and rare advantage of the hostel is the swimming pool and two saunas (a smaller infrared one and a little larger classic Finnish one, with a temperature around 70-80 degrees); open from 07:00 to 11:00 and from 15:00 to 22:00. I recommend the morning hours: fewer people and proper sauna use.
There are no towels in the dorms: either bring your own or rent one from Reception. Similarly, there is no soap or shower gel in the dorms.
The hostel does not have a kitchen, but on level 0, in front of the reception, there is a microwave, an electric kettle (bring your own cup) and several vending machines.
The sauna and pool are undoubtedly an added magnet and attract attention. Unfortunately, not everyone knows how to use them properly. A noisy group of French teenagers, who entered the sauna right after the pool in wet slippers, without using towels and pretending they didn't understand English, spoiled the overall experience and relaxation (requests for intervention at the Reception yielded no results).

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. I arrived later than expected, and they had kept a bag that had been left for me there, even reminding me to pick it up. The room had capacity for two more people than our group (accommodating four instead of two). The toilet is separate from the shower, which is always a practical touch that helps streamline time in the bathroom.
The street where the hostel is located does not appear to be the safest, and it was common to find suspicious individuals loitering around the entrance — and often inside as well.
