The breakfast was decent.
There was no cold water in the shower — only burning hot water. While one can manage with cold water if necessary, it is impossible to shower safely in burning hot water. This was a serious inconvenience after a long trip when I simply wanted to freshen up in the morning.
Although a printed note about the problem was left on my desk when I arrived late at night, I would have appreciated advance notice before check-in. There were other similarly priced 4-star hotels nearby, and I would have chosen one of them had I been informed.
They also “kindly” offered to provide bottled drinking water, yet the receptionist declined to give one the previous night. Overall, the management seems to prioritize short-term profit over guest comfort and long-term satisfaction.

The bathroom fan was too loud, the doors of bathroom were loud, as in- not closing properly. the pillows were too big

Excellent location, in the old city, near a shopping street and cool places to eat and sit.
The bed and pillow were uncomfortable. There was no soundproofing from the street and surrounding rooms.

All the staff was very nice and helpfull. Especially I'd like to point out Anna fron the breakfast service.
Regarding the room - I loved the big bed and the mini-fridge that I had all for myself.
I loved the locatiin - it's really close to everything!
The breakfast had a lot of foods to choose from.
The cleaning lady put exectly the types of coffee and tean in my room that I wanted.
Overall I must say I will try to rebook this hotel the next time I'm in Prague.
3 things I didn't like: the giant mirror in front of my bed (I really do not like those); very small bathroom and toilet, it feels very tight; no smoking rooms and no designated smoking area, just in front of the hotel.

Great staff, great location, cozy as can be, good size breakfast, clean, minutes walk from anything! What else can you ask for?
Our stay was fantastic, Only thing that we commented on had to do with interior design... as the colour and deco choices of the lobby and breakfast room do not do the place justice :)... this out-of-nowhere chinese / no trend harsh to the eye background, the fridge/bar right behind the reception desk, the furniture/floor etc colours in the breakfast room...could have been lighter and given the place the impression and harmony it really deserves! But that s not relevant to our wonderful stay...

Great location close to all city center attractions and a short, inexpensive tram ride away from Prague Castle. Very comfortable bed, helpful staff.
A bit noisy at night from late-night partying tourists but that's a function of high season, and typically didn't last long.

I loved the location – right in the middle of the old town, close to everything. The hotel room was spotless, looked brand new, and was full of natural light. The entire wall was one big window, but the blackout curtains worked perfectly, so I slept very well. During the day the room was bright and inviting, and at night it was comfortably dark.
The shower was beautifully designed, and the modern decoration throughout the room gave it a fresh, stylish feel. The bed was also very comfortable.
There was a gym, which was decent for a morning workout. The incline bench was broken, but I was still able to do a full workout, so it worked out fine.
Breakfast was surprisingly good, with a wide variety of cheeses, meats, bacon, sausages, and other fresh options – richer and fresher than expected.
One of the highlights was the flexibility of the staff. I made my reservation at 12:00 pm, arrived at 12:30 pm, and they still allowed me to check in right away, even though it was much earlier than the normal check-in hour. That flexibility was very much appreciated.
Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend Perla Hotel.

Very Poor
What did we like?
We liked that the hotel is relatively close to all the tourist spots in Prague.
What didn’t we like?
We didn’t like that the breakfast food
We didn’t like that the bed sheets were not changed. During my entire stay — I was there for ten days, from August 3rd to August 10th — they changed my sheets only once, claiming that I had to ask them to do so.
The mattresses were uncomfortable, and they also gave me this huge pillow that didn’t fit at all. I couldn’t sleep for many nights and suffered from back pain, especially in my lower back.
It was simply terrible — I will never go back there again.
