Suspected carbon monoxide poisoning: two exhaust vents are directly outside/below window. They emit a large volume of exhaust/carbon monoxide. There is a corner wall blocking dissemination of these fumes, meaning they are concentrated into the bedroom window. On day two of the stay, I decided to work from a sofa near a window with the window cracked open, hoping to get fresh air. I hadn't observed the heavy exhaust flowing directly into where I was working. After some time, I felt dizzier that I had ever felt in my life. I almost fell over numerous time when I tried to stand up. I closed the triple-paned windows and left the building to go to the doctor. The longer I was outside in fresh air, the better I felt. I remained partially dizzy the rest of the day. When I returned to Penzion Ariane, I kept the interior hallway door open while I slept. I kept setting my alarm at 20 minute intervals, so I could wake and monitor my health. Because triple-paned windows were closed, and the hallway door was open, carbon monoxide wasn't filling the bedroom so much during the night. When I woke in the morning, I didn't open the window and I felt better. Out of courtesy, I let the apartment owner know that he should install a carbon monoxide detector. I said had it been a younger child and not me (middle-aged man in perfect health) the injury could have been more severe or even deadly. The owner lashed out at me and told me checkout and pay 20 minutes before checkout time. I said I was packing my bags and would pay upon checkout. He said if I didn't check out and pay immediately, he would call the police (all because I had the courtesy of reporting a dangerous health hazard in the room). One redeeming factor about the owner is he delivered French press and real coffee to my room. He just isn't receptive to knowing about serious health hazards at his Penzion Ariane, which could be very dangerous or even deadly to children.

Very Good
The bathroom and the kitchenne were very well furnished. The only things missing were a hairdryer in the bathroom and a stove in the kitchenette. The room was very spacious. The little attentions, such as coffee and tea available in the room, were really appreciated. We didn't 't use the public transportation as we were with the car and the parking in the center of Prague is not expensive. But should you want to use the public transportation, there was a bus stop right across the property that takes you to a subway station, which goes to the citi center. The breakfast is served in the room, which is very nice. It was a decent breakfast.
