Likes the relaxed vibe and design, friendliness of staff and easy access to the city via public transport
Breakfast was not of a good quality, had poor variety and felt overpriced.
After two days fresh mint tea was no longer ger available and remained unavailable for the rest of our 6 day stay.

In the lobby area on the ground floor, you’ll find a pool table, long kicker tables, vintage video games and chill-out areas where you can enjoy an evening with friends. There’s also a large, cosy bar there.
The prices at the bar are far too high, but the quality of the drinks could be better.

This is a beautiful hotel in one of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe. The staff are all very friendly and very helpful. And they all speak English very well (which was helpful to someone who is not yet fully conversant in Czech).
My room was very clean. I have read several reviews that say the rooms are very dimly lit. I didnt find this to be the case. The lighting in my room was more than adequate. The bed was amazingly comfortable with beautiful feather duvet and feather pillows. It was like sleeping in a cloud. Normally when travelling, I find it difficult to sleep in strange beds, but the luxurious comfort helped me get good nights sleep from night 1.
The food in the Restaurant Bar was superb (I can highly recommend their Crispy Chicken Salad but to be fair, all the food I tried here was absolutely delicious.)
The ONLY downside for me was the fact there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel want you to buy tea and coffee from the Restaurant Bar area, which isnt a problem, unless like me youre a very early riser. I am usually up and about from about 4-4.30am and having to wait until the Breakfast area opens at 7.00am for a hot tea or coffee was a little intolerable. Sadly this is the ONLY reason that I probably wont stay here on my next visit to this beautiful city

The staff in reception (shout out to Daria & Roya, who’ve been very helpfull and nice) was really great. We’ve been able to do check in earlier, which was pleasant surprise.
Whole hotel has cool vibes and is very original and artsy. Breakfast was delicious. It’s not far from city center and around is a lot of restaurant and caffés.
We went for coffee and drink to a bar around 21:00 and staff already told us that they are not making cocktails, max cuba libre or gin tonic. That was little weird for us, because the bar is suppose to be open till 22:00.
And the fridge in the room wasn’t working.

We had a fantastic stay at Mama Shelter Prague. The hotel has a brilliant modern feel and the decor throughout is absolutely fabulous. It felt very comfortable, relaxed, and friendly from the moment we arrived. The food was a real highlight for us we had breakfast every morning and enjoyed an evening meal there twice, and it was very good every time. While the location is a little bit out of the center, it was no problem at all as there is an excellent tram service just opposite the hotel that takes you straight into the heart of the city. Highly recommended!
The only small suggestion I have would be to provide a way to get a hot drink after 9:30 PM. We found it difficult to find one late in the evening, so perhaps a drinks machine or a self-service coffee station would be a great addition for guests!
