It is so unique, modern and has a very good vibe. So simple to go anywhere in Prague from that location.

Location and vibe
Breakfast at the weekend was a dog fight. Poor set up. Poor upkeep of food. And it was disappointing to walk out the front door on Sunday to see glasses and bottles not cleared.

The location is nice and the room is spacious.
The hotel is hip and cool but beneath the stylish appearance the room itself is actually pretty basic with less amenities than other hotels at the same price which made me feel like I didn't get enough value for my money.
Lightning in the room was very poor, it was impossible to read a book in the evening because you couldn't see anything. There was also a small tapping sound coming from the a/c, luckily I had ear plugs for sleeping. Big construction work right next door but that didn't bother me thanks to the aforementioned ear plugs.
I had dinner at the hotel restaurant but was quite disappointed with the few vegetarian options. I had assumed that a hotel this trendy would cater better for different diets.
I also had to pay a deposit of 550czk when checking in which I feel was very odd considering the room was already paid. They said I'd get the deposit back but I'm still waiting.

Mama Shelter Praha was very clean and close to trams into the old town. The room was a good size. Check in and check out was very eady and fast.
Next to a mall with Lidl grocery store to pick up water and snacks.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Roya and Juris.
The shower floor was extremely smooth, making it very slippery when wet. A bit dangerous for some guests.

Ive stayed many times in Mama Shelter and this stay was for my son Andrew Sillitoes 50th birthday.
There were 11 in total staying, plus we paid £350 for a room for the celebration including food. Plus we spent large amounts of money on drinks and food though out the five days, i repeat LARGE amounts. We were NOT offered any special rates
I have recommended your hotel to many and still no special offers for myself.
So what i didn’t like was when a member of staff questioned my son on his payments for coffee - i paid for breakfast and i didn’t once eat breakfast so my grandson having a bowel of cereal a couple of times and Andrew ate mine on 2 occasions. I find this insulting, disappointing and quite honestly appalling.

Professional staff, easy check-in, modern and clean hotel. It was a breeze and exactly what I wanted. Loved the area and the public transport in Prague is brilliant.
My room was a little chilly and the temperature control didn't make sense.

Our stay at Mama Shelter Prague was absolutely great! Friendly and welcoming staff, delicious cocktails, and a fantastic atmosphere with great DJs and music in the evenings. The location is perfect: centrally located and ideal for exploring Prague.
