The hotel "Old Prague House" has many advantages. The excellent staff and the owner create a very friendly atmosphere and look after the guests' needs. For instance, I asked for a kettle for my room and received one without any issue. Great attention is paid to cleanliness. Hotel boasts a great location, just a two-minute walk from the Charles Bridge. At the same time, it is situated on a side street, so it is very quiet there. It was also peaceful inside the hotel, allowing for a good rest and a sound sleep. It is very close to the town square. You can also walk to the Tesco store (at the intersection of Národní and Na Perštýně) in about five minutes; prices there are much lower (e.g., beer is half the price) than at the small shops closer to the hotel or in the Old Town. The breakfasts are a highlight in themselves—surprisingly big choice and very tasty, suited to every taste. You will find everything from yogurt with cereals, fruits, cold cuts and cheeses to hot dishes like sausages, baked beans, and scrambled eggs. There are even homemade cakes and other desserts. You can enjoy your breakfast in the dining room or out on the patio, which is a lovely place to start the day; large umbrellas allow you to dine there even when it rains. The Wi-Fi works very well. The TV offers channels - mainly news - in multiple languages. Hot bath water is available at all times. Although small, the (single) room was pleasant and adequate. The amenities matched the description on Booking.com. I should note, however, that I was traveling alone and spent most of my 6-days stay away from the hotel - if you plan to spend entire days there, room might feel a bit small.
These may not be actually flaws, but the following points are worth noting. The reception is open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Outside of these hours, staff are available by phone. If you arrive after 7:00 p.m., you must collect the keys from the lockbox. There was no air conditioning in the room, only a fan; this was sufficient for me, but if you prefer it cold, it might not be enough. Steep stairs lead to the upper floor, and I don't think there is an elevator. If you have trouble climbing stairs, please contact the hotel before booking. There is no metro station nearby, but this is beyond the hotel's control, and the situation is the same for most hotels in Prague's old city.

Room with private bathroom, mini fridge, and comfortable beds. The linens were very clean. Fresh breakfast every day. The location is good, you can go walking everywhere. The owners have an amazing disposition and did everything for us to be comfortable. Good price
Our bedroom did not have AC, however the owners provide us with a fan. This is an old building so not all the bedrooms have AC, we stayed in this place during the heat wave.

Old Prague House is a family run lodging very close to the Old Town Square and the Charles Bridge. The staff was quite friendly and helpful with one person even leading us to the grocery store at the end of his shift. They helped arrange our pick up at the airport and were very gracious in adjusting my reservation when I accidently booked the wrong dates. They responded quickly to all of my correspondence. The rooms were clean, and towels were changed daily. There was even a mini-frig in the room. I really enjoyed having the apple strudel at breakfast. (Don't expect it at every breakfast.) I would definitely stay here again.
We were happy with Old Prague House. Others might be concerned with having to walk up stairs, having a fan for air conditioning, or having outside noise (especially during the World Cup). A note, when putting in the direction on your phone, this is Old Prague HOUSE, not Old Prague Hotel or Old Prague Hostel. We made that mistake.

It was an excellent location to access the old town of Prague. The staff were very obliging.
There was no parking, though there was a car park not far away.
My room was very small and very hot - no air con, though there was a small fan.

Location was perfect!
Weirdly, the pillow was too fluffy for me. I’m a back sleeper so it put me at an odd angle. The mattress was also a bit to firm for my liking

It was a great location, walking distance to almost everything we needed to visit. Easy to find, staff was very friendly and accommodating, room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was awesome. Tons of restaurants around and small convenience stores as well as a mall, we would definitely stay here again

Fantastically central location. Everything was very clean and well appointed (abundant extra bedding). The breakfast was generous and had good variety. Felt safe and secure.
The actual room was off the dining room and the bathroom window opened onto the dining courtyard, which was a bit odd, but not a big deal. A kettle would have been nice.

It’s in a great location, breakfast was excellent and the room (and bathroom) were clean.
Our room was across from spotlights in the courtyard and when someone went to their room at night, the spotlights shone directly int our room. Our room also had skylights which had curtains, but they were thin and had gaps which we really noticed at night.
