Location was excellent
Room was not like the picture with divided shower room and toilet.
Housekeeping did not restock our room and didn’t even come one day. Management only offered to upgrade our room which is hassle
Shower was not an even temperature. There is no AC which is noted, but it was very hot when we stayed there.

The hotel advertises carparking, but they don't have onsite. It is 15-minute drive away in traffic, and another 15-minute walk back - deceptive advertising. The rooms are very basic, no air-conditioning - but you get a very noisy floor fan, very small shower, no full-length mirror, poor quality linen - 3stars at best

The location is excellent. You can work easily to major locations and the metro. I loved the room. The restaurant is very good and has wonderful service! I love the rooftop terrace where you can enjoy your welcome drink! That is definitely a perk! The staff was very helpful especially with storage of luggage and setting up a ride to the airport.
There didn't seem to be a luggage rack in my room which would have been helpful. I found the gym situation to be a little confusing. Lastly, on booking, an airport shuttle is listed. This felt a little misleading as in the US that generally means that an airport shuttle is included. The ride to the airport was about 35-40 euros and the staff was very helpful in arranging it, but for travelers, there is no shuttle included that leaves at regular times.

The only issue I had was a housekeeping one. There was a used towel over the shower wall & a pair of some else’s underwear on a shelf.

The breakfast buffet is quite good although a little expensive @ 16 Euros pp.
That price though seems to be consistent with other hotels/restaurants in the vicinity.
Our room was compact, only 1 chair, and there were only Czech channels on the TV, on the other hand the bathroom exceeded expectations esp. the shower.
The hotel needs air conditioning!
Even with the fan supplied working full blast and the window open, it was hard to expel the hot air in the room.
Corridors are quite warm/humid also.
When I booked the room, I had assumed there would be a/c... the increasingly hot European late spring/early summer makes a/c essential I'm afraid.

We had a wonderful stay at the Metropolitan Old Town Hotel in Prague.
The location is excellent for exploring Prague’s historic city center, with all major attractions within comfortable walking distance. The hotel is housed in a beautifully renovated and well-preserved building that offers a charming atmosphere while providing modern comfort.
The staff were young, friendly, motivated, and always willing to help. The room was spotless, and the overall cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding.
Breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to suit all tastes.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague and looking for a comfortable stay in the heart of the city.

The breakfast was spectacular offering a variety of veggies, fruits, cheese, eggs and even chocolate fondue. The staff was excellent! They provided us with another fan in our room. I loved that they provided parking as well, that was a huge savings for us! The location inside Prague was a bonus!
I didn't like that the elevator was up a few stairs and not on ground level. Our room was very far away with stairs inside the bedroom going up to the bathroom, that can be dangerous at night time. There was no air conditioning. We had 2 fans blowing at night.

I love the breakfast. Also the room was very tidy. There's a big photo of Prague, Charles Bridge.
There's no mirror in the room. Sometimes the elevator is out of work.
