The open floor planning of the room was a little confronting - however this was what was advertised so it was by no means an issue from the hostel! though more privacy is prefered

I have never written hotel reviews before, but this one I simply cannot stay silent about.
If you want to experience the worst possible front desk service, head to the Meetme23 hotel.
From the very beginning, we couldn't even get into the hotel because the door was locked, even though the hotel's website stated that the reception operates 24/7. We only managed to get inside because other guests happened to arrive.
The person at the reception did not speak English, was rude, openly aggressive, and refused to provide our room, even though Booking.com had confirmed the reservation and blocked the payment amount.
It took about a hour for us to finally receive our room key, all of which took place well after midnight.
While we were there, another guest approached the receptionist with a simple request for towels. After waiting for 30 minutes, the receptionist just pointed at the clock and refused to provide them.
The worst hotel check-in experience ever.

I was genuinely impressed and had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. I usually avoid hostels when traveling solo, but this one exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a 5-person dormitory (only three of us), and the other guests were quiet and considerate. The room was spotless, the temperature perfect, and everything felt very comfortable. Honestly, it rivaled some 5-star hotels.
The receptionists were respectful, helpful, and made check-in smooth. Located conveniently for public transport to the airport, this place was exactly what I needed. Highly recommend!

I love the location. Train/Bus to and from the airport just 2min walk.
The only thing that I didn’t like about my stays in this place was;
“The Nasty Behaviour of that ONE mature lady @ the Breakfast Counter. I think she was the person in charge looks like the younger crews listened to her. She made me feel so uncomfortable when I was just asking for “hot water”. I felt like I was descriminated (2X happened).
Very inappropriate behaviour for “our” age. She looked very unhappy doing her job. I think she should retire. Because otherwise, if she doesn’t change, just one bad encounter with her with your client will reflects bad reviews of your hostel.
Sorry about this not so pleasant reviews. One rotten apple will make the rest bad.
Just to be fair, the front staff and the room crews were all nice and polite and that somehow compensate for the negative experience.

Room was quite spacious for 4 people. Safe in room was big enough to store backpack and clothes and usage instructions were clear. Shower was spacious enough. Place is close to main train station which is nice. Check in and check out was real quick.
Unfortunately there were no blinds on window and street light was shining to my face. Safe was bit loud when inputting code.

Great location, close to the train and also walkable to public transit and everything in old town as well. Was clean, comfortable, and safe.
There could be slightly more privacy in the dorms, they didn’t have any curtains or walls separating the beds.

The location was great. It was close to the main train station and a 15 minute walk to the city center.
It was cumbersome to take some flight of stairs with luggages to het to the main lobby.
