This is a very personal and characterful little hotel near Prague castle. We had a room in the courtyard which was small but very cutely decorated and extremely quiet and comfortable. We were only there for one night, what a shame!

The staff was friendly and the location was unbeatable. It is very close to Prague Castle, yet far enough from the tourist path to have a quiet environment. The breakfast was lovely.
The squeaky bed, the curtains of the room door are very light and the street light filters in all day and night. Not helpful if you are jet-lagged. There were not enough outlets in the room.

it was a charming old building in the middle of the Prague castle district. You can easily walk, take public transportation or ride shares to most things you want to do or see. The value was terrific. The rooms are decorated in an old fashioned czech manner, with painted murals on the ceiling.
if you are used to a modern full service hotel, it might not be for you.

The hotel was very cute and had a lot of character. If that's important to you in a stay, this is definitely the place for you. The room was super cute and was like a piece of art from the stencil painted ceiling to the well maintained antique matching room furniture. The beds were comfortable and the shower, though small, had great water pressure. The breakfast was divine and had many good options. We really enjoyed the devil eggs and pastries. The kind gentleman at the front desk, I believe his name was Peter even made us cappuccino drinks when he noticed us looking at the expresso machine like a science project, very helpful staff and really a great place to stay for the location and price.
The only things that I have to complain about are just personal preferences as a person who likes her creature comforts. They didn't supply a smaller hand towel or what we call in America a "wash cloth" which wasn't a big deal as I travel with an emergency one but you should be warned that is not a thing here. Also, while I love old timey things if you're not ok with seeing cracks in the base board/of the walls or killing a bug or two because you left the screen less windows open for ventilation and something wandered in, other than that perfect stay!

We loved our stay at Hotel Loreta. It's conveniently located very close to Prague Castle and has really good restaurants around.. We were next to the Loreta Chapel. The breakfast was of good quality.

Beautiful historic building, painted wooden ceiling beams, private parking space 2 blocks away.
There is a pub across the street, which could be noisy in the evenings. But actually it wasn't a problem for sleeping, because they always closed and got quiet around 10pm.
