The hotel is perfectly located behind Tyn cathedral in old town. The room was spacious and staff were really flexible and welcoming

Most of all, staff is so kind and helpfull.
The location is excellent—just a few steps from the main square, yet away from the crowds, situated on a small hidden plaza. Everything is clean and very well maintained, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bedding is top quality.

We have had a wonderful 5 days stay at hotel Josephine. Great staff, helpful, friendly, obliging.
Gorgeous room number 33, very large, comfortable bed, more like a family room double bed and two singles. Overlooking quaint little square. Close to bigger main square, in the heart of the old town yet close to the hustle and bustle of everything. About 15 minute walk to Charles bridge. Tip: get out and about early to avoid crowds and organised tours.
Our room was quiet except for the distant faint sound of music from the local bar, but never affected our sleep and had decent sleeps all week, never heard people next door either.
Breakfast sufficient for us. Think bacon provided every other day and daily fried eggs: boiled eggs,selection of breads and local cuisine on hand including pastries. So all in all brilliant. Go see for yourself!
Nothing, small note, lift very tight squeeze, we were on floor 2 and easy enough to climb wooden staircase.

A cozy, clean and fantastically located. Everything was within walking distance. The staff were friendly and most helpful. The rooms big with opening coffee, a TV that actually worked, unlimited coffee and tea, and a lovely bathroom with plenty of hot water.
The breakfast was outstanding and with a honest spread.
Everything was perfect. No complaints at all.

Excellent combination of location + authenticity + comfort + price. The hotel is located 2 minutes walking from the main (and beautiful) square in Prague, yet within a secluded and quaint square, away from the crowds. The building itself and rooms are very 'Pragu-esque' and become part of the visiting experience. This is an important point to consider for those who might expect a 'flashier' or more 'corporate' hotel. I, personally, thought it was a plus. The rooms were large, overlooking the beautiful square, and with distinctively comfortable beds. We did not opt for the breakfast (but saw the room, and it looked very nice). The staff was very nice. The hotel arranged for the airport transfers (10 euro per person, quite reasonable). The price we paid was very reasonable, considering all these aspects. I would definetly stay here again!
The only thing I would have wished different was the temperature in the room: it was a bit chilly, and there was no way to turn on the heat (late April stay).

The staff were very friendly especially in the breakfast room and Reception(Daria and Diana)
We stayed for 3 nights , The room was dark and outdated and not as the bright classic , fourbed room shown on the pictures. The room was noicy (first night due to outside restaurants) and the courtyard used for maintenance people and cleaning staff preparing for cleaning the rooms. The water temperature of the shower was fluctuating and almost burned my daughter. The Tv was so small and only had few watchable channels (no english channels).The sheets had stains on them. The breakfast was not good ,(Boilded eggs overcooked, cheese was open in warm room, silverfish in tea cups and fresh bread selection was poor).
