My 20 year old son and I stayed in what I think is a “family room” (3 beds and a couch) with a view down the street next to the church. The room was very spacious, cozy, and nicely decorated. The couch was a little ‘tired’ but still comfy enough. There was plenty of hanging space for our clothes and drawers too, and a coffee machine in the room with replacement capsules each day. The location was excellent - very quiet and a great jumping off point for walking the city each day. I read some complaints about the breakfast but we thought it had a lot of nice options for just 15 Euro. It is not your endless, lavish buffet but I would expect to pay a lot more that. The staff was very helpful too and had umbrellas for us when we wanted to push out in the rain.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Josephine, Old Town Square! The location was perfect, just off Prague's exquisite main square and close to all main attractions. Our room was huge, with two large windows overlooking an atmospheric small square and giving wonderful views of the iconic Tyn church towers. Being set off the main Old Town square, the hotel provided a peaceful and quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle. It was very clean, had comfortable bed and pillows, a good quality coffee machine and a well-stocked mini bar. The complimentary bottle of wine left for us was a nice touch - thank you!
The hotel staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, from staying on late at night to check us into our room after we suffered a long plane delay, to arranging taxi transfers for us and advising on the best coffee shops and restaurants. We would love to visit Prague again soon and would definitely choose to stay at Hotel Josephine!

The location was fantastic--totally walkable to the sites. The staff was friendly and most helpful, went out of its way to answer questions, the breakfast was very good. Coffee was available in the room.

The room was spacious and very accommodating. The property was beautiful and located in the most perfect location for a tourist family. The staff was very kind! The elevator was great for my elderly dog.

Staying at the Josephine Old Town Square Hotel was a ten-star experience for us. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and spotlessly clean; the beds were excellent; the bathtub was a delightful treat; the staff was friendly, helpful, and professional; the breakfast was generous with a generous variety of hot and cold selections; the proximity to the Old Town Square was appreciated, especially given my husband's limited mobility. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay and would return in a heartbeat if possible. We highly recommend this quality establishment.

Location is fantastic but the hotel needs some serious modernisation.
Instead of having a double bed, we got two single beds joined together.
Bathroom rather old and worn out for a four-star hotel.

We had a fantastic experience at Josephine Hotel. The reception was warm and welcoming, and the staff were always polite and helpful throughout our stay.
Our room was very spacious, full of character, and even included a dressing area. Although it had four beds, it was just the two of us, which made it feel extra comfortable and luxurious. Everything was kept spotless — the room was cleaned daily.
The breakfast was very nice, with plenty of options to start the day. On top of that, the hotel surprised us with thoughtful gifts including a Prague Pass, vouchers for Café Louvre, a magnet, and cosmetics — such a generous and memorable touch!
Overall, this hotel combines comfort, charm, and exceptional service right in the heart of Prague. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city.
