Hotel Waldstein is located in the most attractive part of Prague, surrounded by Prague Castle and just a few steps from Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square. All the most important sights of Prague are easily accessible on foot. The nearest metro station is accessible within a 5-minute walk and a tram stop within a 2-minutes walk. Set in a 14th-century building, rooms at Hotel Waldstein are fitted with modern furniture. Each room has a flat-screen satellite TV and free tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel's rich, hot buffet breakfast is served in a beautiful vaulted Renaissance cellar. In summer, guests can relax in the pleasant atrium. Free Wi-Fi is provided in public areas. There is also an internet point free of charge by the 24-hour reception. Bikes are also available for rent directly at the Waldstein. For trams 22, 23 and 12, guests can walk to Malostranske namesti tram station, only 164 feet away. The Malostranska Metro Station, on the A line, is 656 feet away. Due to the historic monument protection there is no elevator in the building. All rooms are accessible only by stairs. The 24-hour reception is located in the Hotel Three Storks, just 98 feet from the Hotel Waldstein. We had a charming check-in experience, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They provided ice for our water bottles upon request, which was appreciated. The hotel is in a great location, close to everything, and the rooms were spacious and clean. We stayed on the top floor, which meant quite a few steps—something to keep in mind if mobility is a concern. A staff member kindly took our luggage up the stairs. The breakfast room was nice and offered a good variety, which made for a pleasant start to the day.
Our group had three rooms, and all the rooms were clean. One room appeared to have traces that could have been from bed bugs, although it may have been something else. I didn’t have any bites or find live bugs, but I took photos and shared them with the front desk, who noted the room number and were responsive.

I chose this hotel last minute as my initial hotel choice didn't offer breakfast and sounded more like an air B&B. Waldstein is a lovely hotel in and old building with lots of character. The room was superb and spacious and bed very comfortable. Breakfast superb and staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well located for Charles Bridge and the surrounding area, a short walk from Malastranka Metro and tucked away in a quiet square I When I next visit Prague I will definitely stay here again

Close to town with restaurants,supermarkets and attractions such as Charles Bridge. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast great options from buffet in a beautiful location.
As we were on ground floor in front of car park and some construction going on we had early morning noise from this when windows open. Windows closed fixed this issue.

It was a very quaint hotel located super close to the square of Malostranské náměstí. The room is quite big and clean! The hotel staff were extremely friendly and were very sweet to us so that’s a plus point. The breakfast was also extensive and can fill you up. The only down side would be the poor insulation. We can hear people’s steps from the floor above us and the sound of water flowing through faucets or if somebody’s in the shower. If the people you checked in with are considerate, they will really try their best to make little to no sound. Overall, an 8/10.

Property is in a good location, convenient to walk to many sites, but in a less busy and quieter street . Staff was very helpful and breakfast has a lot of options. The room we had was large for a hotel room.
What might make it even better is if there was a restaurant on premises. However that may have made it louder !

We loved the position of this hotel, being in the shadow of the castle, and across Charles Bridge, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was spotlessly clean and has had a modern refurbishment. We had to check in & out at the nearby Three Storks Hotel, but this wasn't a problem because we had to walk past that hotel to get to the Waldstein around the corner. The staff were very helpful and friendly, giving us good advice when asked. This is the second time we have stayed here, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
