Hotel Waldstein is located in the most attractive part of Prague, surrounded by Prague Castle and just a few steps from Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square. All the most important sights of Prague are easily accessible on foot. The nearest metro station is accessible within a 5-minute walk and a tram stop within a 2-minutes walk. Set in a 14th-century building, rooms at Hotel Waldstein are fitted with modern furniture. Each room has a flat-screen satellite TV and free tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel's rich, hot buffet breakfast is served in a beautiful vaulted Renaissance cellar. In summer, guests can relax in the pleasant atrium. Free Wi-Fi is provided in public areas. The 24-hour reception is located in the Hotel Three Storks, just 98 feet from the Hotel Waldstein. The location is great and everyone was super nice. The breakfast was also very good. The room was modern and clean, but different from what I envisioned when I made my reservation.
The room I got was very small and separated from the main building. I think I got the wrong idea from the pictures in Booking. Even this survey showed the room I thought I was going to get, and that I associated with the price I paid. What I liked the least about the room I got is that it was on a first floor and the curtains would not close, so you would feel a general lack of privacy.

After stupidly being booked in an atrocious hotel in the Old Town I moved here, and had a very pleasant and relaxing evening and good night sleep.

Everything went well! The service at check-in was absolutely superb. Room was huge and very comfortably slept the three of us. Clean and the little details taken care of. Bathroom also great. Breakfast was super and again the service was excellent.
It is what it is, but the stairs can be a mission when lugging baggage up. David was however an absolute star in helping to carry. There really is nothing to dislike about this establishment.

Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from and hot choices varying daily , fresh fruit and pastries were fantastic . Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, you have to use the reception at the hotel next door 3 storks but nothing felt like too much trouble, they even arranged transport to the airport , recommended things to do and helped us out with charging my phone before we left ! The location is perfect and we walked absolutely everywhere and to the further locations the tram is right on your doorstep , we were so glad we stayed in old town as it is such a beautiful location !
There was nothing to not like in this hotel ! For the price the location and staff were perfect and the room was beautiful and very quiet too.

We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spotless with plenty of room for the family of four adults. Beds were very comfortable. The included breakfast had a great variety of foods and the breakfast room was so unique- underground with vaulted ceilings and stone walls. The hotel is is a great location- walking distance to the castle, St Charles Bridge, and many more sights of Prague. We highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Prague.

Beautiful historical building located in the center of Mala Strana, bonus is easier car access and possible parking. Easy leveled walk to Charle's bridge and city center, close to Hradcany Castle. Very comfortable bed, and due to location very quiet during the night, lending itself to good night sleep. Hotel is in the area of Czech senate buildings and various embassies, so very safe to walk around. Staff was very attentive and welcoming, very good breakfast. Hotel itself is very beautiful and full of character and charm, all around great choice.
Nothing, Czech hospitality at it's best!
