All the most important sights of Prague are easily accessible on foot. The nearest metro station is accessible within a 5-minute walk and a tram stop within a 2-minutes walk. Set in a 14th-century building, rooms at Hotel Waldstein are fitted with modern furniture. Each room has a flat-screen satellite TV and free tea and coffee making facilities. I thought my room would have a shared space, because I chose a room with two bedrooms. The room was basically just two bedrooms and the bathroom was inside one of them. More like a family room rather than two couples room

The hotel has a charm of its own. My room on the ground floor was off a little courtyard and very tastefully decorated and furnished in a modern bohemian style. They’ve managed to mix old and new perfectly. The breakfast room downstairs continues on this theme, probably once being a wine cellar, but now having been converted into a charming place to have an excellent buffet breakfast.
There was nothing negative at all about this hotel.

Very nice and quiet area. Still very central since it’s just under the castle but most tourists stay in the old town, and even if the hotel is very close to the Charles bridge and to the castle, you don’t have many people around. Room was very spacious. Breakfast was very good with different warm dishes, all kind of beverages, fresh fruits, vegetables, ham, cheese, etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Considering the category of the hotel, one could maybe expect some leisure facilities such as a small gym or a spa. But since it’s an old building I can understand that it can be complicated.

The breakfast was excellent, the location was great, and above all, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
NOISE There is street noise from as early as 5:45 every morning, with deliveries, guests arriving by car, and people heading to and from breakfast. It sounds as though the windows were open. There is also noise coming from the hallways.

I loved this hotel and would not stay anywhere else if I return to Prague. Close to everything. Staff super nice! Breakfast bar was delicious. We loved our room number 24. Spacious and comfortable. We really really really liked this hotel. One of my favorites ever. I am not being paid to write this. I promise.
