Breakfast variety, waffles selfservice, "henry vejce" is TOP please keep serving! Room nice and clean, we cherish the upgrade we got love it! Garden bar as always comfy and tasty beer and food with good service.
The mattraces need to be changed, cause they are having hollows.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, with the reception being permanently staffed. The room was comfortable with everything we needed and more. It was spotlessly clean, with a great shower and comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was continuously topped up and there was a lot of variety. We also ate in the restaurant - delicious chargrilled meats and fish - can definitely recommend. The hotel is in a quiet area but easy to get into central Prague either by tram or, as we did, a pleasant walk through a park. We very much enjoyed our stay.

It’s a very nice, quite small hotel in a historic building with the old style preserved but at the same time with modern amenities. The room we had is reasonably large, with a double bed and a pull out sofa, which we also used for sleeping as we came 2+1. There is also a desk, a wardrobe, a small fridge (mini-bar), a coffee table and a Nespresso coffee machine, but using some coffee disks not the standard Nespresso capsules. The room is airconditioned. The bathroom, with a bath, is quite large and modern. The choice of products for breakfast is not as wide as in large hotels, but there’s such variety that everyone should find something testy for him or her. We really enjoyed these breakfasts. The hotel's restaurant V Zahrade serves tapas food, but if one prefers typical Czech meals then right in front of the hotel there’s Hostinec Na Slamniku. The hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful area. Right next to the hotel there are many embassies, while few minutes away there’s a residential district constructed in the inter-bellum period. There, near the Pushkin square, so within 5 to 10 minutes walking, there are some shops, bars and restaurants. The metro station Hradcanska is 15 min away walking, but there’s a bus 131 passing close to the hotel and taking to that station (and another, but less frequent, bus 108 going to Dejvicka metro). The largest park in Pargue - Stromovka is close to the hotel. If one has time, can walk to Zoo and Troja Castle, it takes 30 min walking. Next time in Prague we’ll certainly choose Hotel Schwaiger again.
There’s not much to complain. In our room there were only two, small windows, though considering it’s a historic building not much can be done with it. What can be done though is to install blinders that would prevent light from coming to the room as some people prefer to sleep in darkness, while the current ones are not “light-proof”. Would be also good to install in rooms electric kettles because hot water provided by the coffee machine is not 100 C. People with walking problems may need to consider that there are few rooms on the 3rd floor which can’t be reached by the lift as it goes only to the 2nd floor. If one has such difficulties, then should ensure that is not given a room on the 3rd floor.

Location of the hotel is great, it's quite area next to the park. And also hotel has a restaurant on the first floor, which is convenient. Room was pretty good. Bottle of water as a welcome gift was really good too and useful (especially when it's so hot outside). Breakfast was nice, variety of food is enough for plain breakfast. I can highlight waffle machine! Waffles were so good, I can highly recommend it. Stuff is friendly and helpful, they showed us some good tourist attractions and even a hospital.
