The staff is very friendly.
The photos of the rooms on Booking do not correspond to reality, our room was in a corner with no space and the bathroom had no curtains in the bathtub (when you showered standing up everything was flooded even if you were careful).
According to the hotel they can't do anything about it, but I was expecting a 4 star hotel and I found a 2 star hotel.
The air conditioning is important if you go in summer, and also when we arrived the elevator was broken and it was a fourth floor (but this was a one time thing).
Waiting for breakfast at certain hours.
I would not go back.

Excellent stay at Hotel Merkur in Prague! The location is perfect, close to the old town and main attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the breakfast was varied and delicious. The staff were friendly, always attentive to details, and even surprised us with a lovely gift. An ideal choice for a successful city break in Prague!

The location of this hotel is a major highlight—perfectly situated for exploring Prague. The staff were exceptionally warm and accommodating. Despite arriving a few minutes late for breakfast due to my daughter, they kindly let us in without any fuss. I recommend!
Everything was wonderful. They are very attentive to the little details and that's what makes the difference. At check in I received a voucher to a hotel with a panoramic view with 2 glasses of prosecco and a tourist discount card.
Varied breakfast and very good, lots of fruit and cheese. Ceanliness room.
It was my birthday and they surprised us with a candle cake and sang happy birthday to me.
The people at the reception were very kind. At check out I received a magnet and a 20% voucher in their hotel chain which is valid not only in the Czech Republic. The parking is further away, under a bridge. but it is guarded which offers security and is free. close to all the tourist attractions if you want to discover Prague on foot.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was also delicious. In general good Hotel in side of amazing old town.
For my stay, I reserved a parking and it was around 3/5 min walk from the Hotel. Such information should be mentioned in the booking.

Wonderful
The hotel was nice and overall we had a pleasant stay. The only thing we didn’t really like was that the parking area was not guarded during the weekend of our stay, and we didn’t notice any security cameras. However, the hotel staff was always available and ready to assist us whenever we needed something. Thank you for your hospitality!
