Beautifully Renovated Rooms, but Room Allocation & Breakfast Need Improvement
I recently stayed at this hotel and would like to share my personal experience.
The Positives First:
The rooms are beautifully renovated, modern, and spotless. Regarding the room design and comfort, there is truly nothing to complain about.
Areas with Room for Improvement:
Room Booking: I specifically selected and booked a single-bed option via Booking.com, but upon arrival, this category was unfortunately not available.
Breakfast Experience: The main dining area was completely full during my visit, so I was moved to a second room which offered a noticeably smaller selection, particularly regarding muesli options.
Overall, it is a nicely designed hotel with great potential once the room allocation and breakfast logistics are refined.

Location of hotel is good and rooms were very clean
A lot of noise could be heard from the room from 5am, from the rooms above and from the hallway (cleaners), which disturbed sleep. Wouldn’t pay for the breakfast again

Very nice hotel
location is 10 minute walk into the centre.
Room was very clean and a decent size
Quite a lot of choice at breakfast.
Breakfast room was always really busy and sometimes you had to wait for a table.
Toaster was out of order on last day and there was no back up one.

The staff at the hotel were extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast, which was included in the cost, was very tasty with plentiful and varied foods. We stayed in a beautiful balcony room on the top floor, which has great views over the city. The room was clean and very comfortable, with a modern bathroom, safe and fridge (plus complementary water and haribos). The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring Prague. It's a 5-10 minute walk to Wenceslas Square/new town and the metro/trams, and a 15-20 minute walk to old town. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a slightly quieter place to stay than the main nightlife hub but still within easy reach of all the beautiful local attractions. Thanks so much to the Majestic Plaza Hotel staff for a perfect stay ( we stayed 5 nights in total). We look forward to returning soon.
For our first 4 nights we stayed in a balcony room on the top floor at the back of the hotel, which was beautifully quiet and we were able to sleep with the windows open. There was a good view of Prague Castle from the balcony. The final night (which we stayed after visiting Vienna) we were in a balcony room at the front of the hotel overlooking the street and it was a bit noisier from passing traffic (but is a street, not a main road) so we had to sleep with the windows closed. This is a very small thing and didn't really bother us (just that my partner likes to sleep with the window open usually) but are just mentioning so people who are booking well in advance could request a balcony room at the back of the hotel for the quietest stay and slightly better views. Other than that small thing, there was nothing else to dislike at all.

The location was great, everything was within walking distance. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We lacked nothing. The breakfast was delicious. All staff members were super nice.
