Very Good
The place was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The location is great close to the city center and only about a 5-minute walk to the metro station. The area where the hotel is located feels very safe. The room had heating and a safe which is great, and it was very quiet so you can enjoy a good night’s sleep.
I didn’t like the breakfast area it’s too small, and if you come early during breakfast time, it’s hard to find a table.

The service was amazing- Philip in the reception was very welcoming and helped us with anything we needed. The food at the breakfast was excellent and the rooms were always cleaned and restocked with fresh towels and drinks.

Close to everything, great views from the room
Elevator was really small and there was still a small stair before the rooms hall, but that was about it everything else was amazing

Advertised as having an elevator, and it did, but not to get to any of the floors with rooms on them. Staff uninformed about room amenities. (Towel warmer). When asked about tour buses, we were told we had to find our own tickets. When asked about walking distance to the castle, we were told 10 minutes. We got an Uber, it took us 15 minutes to get there.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Karlov. The hotel is elegant, quiet, and full of charm. Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed.
What truly made the experience special was the outstanding staff. Everyone was warm, helpful, and professional. A special thanks to Daniel, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay.

Spacious separate sitting area including desk; well appointed bedroom; music themed decor;

The lift doorways are at a different level to the room entry due to an architectural limitation (this has been commented as a negative by other guests); but this was not a big issue for us as Philip was a great help, he carried the luggage to the room.

The Pavarotti room was above our expectations,
also the staffs attention to the little details.
Breakfast’s quaint room was stacked with fresh fruit and a complete variety of everything but caviar.
I hope to return to Prague and wish to stay there in the same rooms with its breath taking view of Prague.

Perfect location central to the castle complex and old town square. Easy access to everything that is Prague with public transit out front, although we never needed it because we were in the center of everything we wanted to see. The room was beautiful. The breakfast was amazing with a great variety of ftesh options. The vaulted rooms and staircases with back patios were great. The front desk staff was very helpful. They were able to arrange local concerts for us. The only weird thing was we had to go take out cash to pay for it. They couldn't do it with a card, but the voucher they gave us got us into the concerts fine.
The only drawbacks would be distance to parking. It is across the river, and paying for it was confusing. Another issue was in our room was there was a bath with a shower wand but no actual shower stall or enclosure. If you don't sit in the tub, water will splash on the floor, counter, walls etc. The final quirk would only be an issue if you can't use stairs. The main lobby is up half a flight of stairs from the entrance. The elevator stops on landings between floors, so go one level above and ealk down. It is also impressively small, so 2 people really fit tight with any luggage . We took the stairs most of the time.

Excellent location, next to public transportation (tram and metro). 8 minutes walk from Prague castle, 15 minutes walk from old town. Cosy and spacious rooms. Great breakfast. Very nice stuff. Highly recommend.
