The place is close to the river. Walking distance to Charles bridge. The staff was excellent and helpful. Initially, on day 1, we had a very small room, but the manager went ahead and changed the room and gave us a decent size room. Very courteous. Walking distance to downtown and plenty of restaurants around. The breakfast was really good in an old armory setting. Would highly recommend.

The breakfast hall was very nice and the staff is very welcoming and friendly.
Couldn't ask for a better location in the Mal Stana neighbourhood.
The size of the room was not big enough and I took a double just for me and not equiped enough.
Even with the big curtains the light would wake me up very early in the morning.

We like the medieval approach of the dining area and they offered us a welcome drink during our check in. Room is spacious for us, group of three friends. We appreciate the kindness of the hotel personnel, Ms. Barbora who gave us a token (home made brownies) during our check out.
We just have to roll our luggage on a long stretch of path with uneven cobble stones. Nevertheless, it was an exceptional stay.

Location and breakfast.
Room location 2nd floor on lane way. Very noisy early morning we we right above kitchen. When we got in the room there was some sort of construction/maintenance debris on the bathroom floor. Stair well was very grimy.

Absolutely beautiful dining area and main spaces! Clean rooms and super comfortable beds. But what really made the stay for me was the staff!! Misheel was sooo kind. The location wasnt correct from Booking.com and she walked 5 minutes outside the hotel to come find me when I was lost. Multiple times the staff really went above and beyond to accommodate!! Thank you!!!
The address listed on Booking.com led me to the wrong place and it was very difficult to find alone at night in the dark in a city Ive never been to. I wish there had been better directions online or something? Im not sure why the listed address brings you close but a few blocks away.

It's a very nice hotel, the position is excellent, very close to the park Kampa. With a 10/15 minutes walk you can reach pretty much everything! There is a very nice pub in front of the hotel where you can have lunch, dinner or just a simple beer. The hotel stuff is amazing, everyone was very kind and each one of them had always a smile on their face. The room was very clean, the bathroom immaculate! The bed is very comfortable and there's a great variety of pillows. There's also a little bar outside with a very nice view of the river.
I also highly recommend the breakfast, it had a lot variety and the food always tasted amazing. It's vegetarian friendly, me and my boyfriend had a lot of options and always left with our stomach full! Vegans may have a more limited selection (soy milk, fresh fruit, muesli, seeds, bread, peanut butter, jam, raw veggies and sometimes cooked ones) but I'm sure they will add more options if you'll tell them in advance. All I can say is that we had a great time there and I highly suggest this hotel.
We paid our stay in advance and proceeded with the online check in. When we arrived we had to pay an extra of 100 euros as a deposit and it came as a surprise for us. The receptionist said that the whole amount would be refunded in two days after the check out (which is true, in a couple of days I had my money back) but honestly it would have been nice to know it in advance. If you take something from the mini fridge or the bar, you can choose to pay with the money you gave as a deposit which is cool I guess... But it should have been presented as a choice rather than an obligation. Or simply just say in advance that there will be a deposit, it wasn't a problem for us but it if you're budgeting it's bumming to have an unpredicted expense, even if you know it will be refunded. We didn't receive any message or email saying that a deposit would be requested at the time of the arrival and the online check in didn't mention it neither. That's the only thing I didn't like and that I can suggest you to change.
