Wonderful
First of all, the communication and friendliness of the staff, before I even arrived was outstanding. Our train heading to Prague was cancelled at the very last minute and the staff put me at ease with organising a transfer from the train station to the hotel.
The hotel is amazing. Located on the opposite side of Old Town, but close to Charles Bridge. We loved the medieval attention to detail in the dining area, it was a great point of interest. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. I approached the manager with a concern about allergens. He promptly brought out the chef who then pointed out what was suitable and safe.
The room was fine, but the beds were super comfortable.
Enjoyed the free snacks in the bar area in the afternoon. It was nice to sit down with a drink and have a little nibble, while contemplating what to do for the rest of the evening.
Our room had a weird smell each time we entered.

The hotel is in a great location for seeing the city attractions. All staff we met were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety of food and was available until 11am. We also loved the complementary bites in the afternoon. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable.
The bedroom window is odd and was difficult to open.

they are actually thieves. I paid for parking and when I got there they said that the parking lot was under repair, but in fact they had rented the parking lot to other companies. They took a 300 eur deposit from us as if we had run away with their old and shabby furniture. Don't go there... it's a nightmare. At breakfast the food was spoiled and the beer served at the dispenser was rancid. Very very very bad

The breakfast was wonderful and busy and unique and set me up for a wonderful day ahead each morning. The rest of the time was quiet at the hotel and every time I needed something I could go to the front desk and whichever staff member was there would help me with no hesitation.
I understand the front door is locked to the street and that made it a little confusing to guests that were visiting. But I think it's for security and have all people who enter go through the front desk and I fully support that. I loved it from beginning to mine traveling home.

Breakfast was exceptional, something for every taste. And loads of it.
in a beautiful vaulted dining room. what an experience to eat breakfast there.
A bit cold if seated near the lobby hallway door which was also open all the time.
Bar was lovely too but part of reception so again the doors were always open.

Barking dogs in the room next to us, and poor housekeeping
We stayed 4 nights and housekeeping only folded our quilts and replaced towels.
Didn’t replace dirty cups from day one.
Also EVERYTIME we returned to our room the key card needed to be recalibrated.
Staff were fantastic but very frustrating.

The bed was another level of comfortable.
It was clean and warm.
The breakfast was amazing. The variety and quality of the food available exceeded all expectation!
