Location was excellent , staff were nice and that’s about where the positives end.
The three room suite did indeed, NOT have three single beds, as advertised. The solution was a pull out bed, or better described as a cot, which was definitely not acceptable for an adult male. The room was dirty. Hair found on the bed and the carpet was disgusting. Windows could use work too but they get a pass on that as it’s a historical building. Difficult to open said windows, when we did, plenty of bugs showed up. Room very warm, we turned off radiators but boiling water continued pumping through the pipes in the room. Bed was uncomfortable and pillowed even worse as they were lumpy. Bathroom in very bad condition. Shower was an absolute joke, sink was chipped, shoddy work to cover patches on the walls. Insects from the sink as it had no drain cover.

Great location, very close to Charles Bridge.
Helpful staff, nice breakfast options.
The carpets and walls could benefit from some additional cleaning and maintenance to make the overall appearance of the hotel feel fresher and more welcoming.
Also, there was quite a strong food smell in the breakfast salon and it tended to linger on our clothes afterwards. Better ventilation could really improve the overall experience.

Our stay at the Pytloun was amazing. The location was perfect for us. Almost everything was within walking distance, and if it wasn't, public transportation was nearby. We really appreciated the warm welcome (with a glass of Prosecco) and the complimentary breakfast. They also offered free tapas in the afternoon - very nice touch.

We found it quite challenging to manage during the hot summer days. The absence of air conditioning made our stay rather uncomfortable. Close to Hradczany and Charles Bridge, very convenient for visiting these monuments. The breakfast was tasteful. We enjoyed our short stay in Prague very much.
No real complaints.
Ok, there was one serious problem: Bigi (hotel receptionist) had no semi-sweet wine for welcome drink. ;)
