The Pytloun Kampa Garden Hotel Prague is located in a rather simple historic townhouse on Kampa Island, in a very quiet and atmospheric part of Prague. It is a small, charming and functional hotel that fits perfectly into the picturesque surroundings near the Vltava River and Charles Bridge, while still being only a few minutes’ walk from Prague’s Old Town. Public transport is also quickly and easily reachable. There were plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance and yet the hotel was in a quiet area.
I was very lucky to get the room with the balcony facing the Čertovka canal (apparently the only balcony room on that side), with a lovely view over a beautiful garden where I could comfortably sit in the sun when returning from my excursions.
The breakfast was very generous and varied, including fresh scrambled eggs, the possibility to bake your own waffles, and a nice little terrace where one could comfortably enjoy a coffee in the morning.
I would happily stay here again on a future visit to Prague.

The location of this hotel is excellent, right by the Mala Strana end of the Charles Bridge, in a lovely old quarter of town. The property is right adjacent to the Kampa park. Our rooms (yes we had two bookings and changed rooms after the first night) were very spacious and comfortable. Loved the small balcony in the second room - perfect for morning coffees while listening to bird song...:) The hotel is very quiet, and there is no traffic around it, as it is located at the end of a looping street with reduced circulation. Easy to walk everywhere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed our stay!
Definitely not a big issue, but the bathroom is soon in need for some refreshment / TLC...:) (E.g. no shower curtain so the floor gets wet a slippery quite easily).

Location was amazing. Really enjoyed being close to Charles Bridge and 10 minutes walk from Old Town etc without being too close to the crowded parts of Prague.
Friendly staff and the breakfast was good with plenty of choices.

There was so much to like about this hotel. Its situation was perfect, close to the Charles Bridge and all the delights of the Old Town, with the attractive Kampa Park with its splendid views of the river close by. There were plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance and yet the hotel was in a quiet area. We slept so well. And the breakfasts were delicious.
The hotel itself was comfortable and well-appointed. The staff were without exception friendly, helpful and professional. Anna, Bigi and Jaroslav went out of their way to help us with our many enquiries and made our stay so very pleasant. On sunny days the hotel terrace overlooking the river was a lovely place to relax.

The hotel situated at Karoly-bridge, a lot of good restaurants around. Calm and silence environment inspite of the location.
