My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Julian.
From the moment we arrived, the woman at the front desk was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. She made sure we knew about different tours and activities around Prague and that we had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. She truly made us feel at home right away.
Our room was lovely, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet. We were also so glad we chose to stay in Malá Strana rather than Old Town. It was peaceful and away from all the hustle and bustle, yet still close enough that we could easily walk across the bridge and be right in the heart of everything.
Our favorite part of the stay, though, was the breakfast. It was a beautiful spread with fresh pastries and so many delicious choices. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. After more than a month of traveling through Europe, it was easily the best hotel breakfast we had anywhere.
Sitting in the beautiful library in the mornings, having breakfast and sipping cappuccinos, became one of my favorite memories of our entire vacation. One morning I actually sat there with tears in my eyes because I knew, in that moment, just how special it all was.
I cannot recommend Hotel Julian highly enough. It was such a wonderful part of our time in Prague, and I truly hope we are lucky enough to return someday.

The hotel is only about 500 metres from Petřín Park and around a 20–25 minute walk from the Old Town. Despite being relatively close to the main attractions, the area is quiet and peaceful, with very little noise.
The hotel was clean and well maintained. The only issue was the breakfast. Overall, the breakfast was tasty, especially the pastries. There wasn’t a huge variety, but what was available was good. The main downside was that the fruit didn’t seem fresh and some of it tasted as though it had been sitting out for a while.
The rooftop terrace was also a lovely feature. It was cosy, peaceful, and a really nice place to relax.

Presents as quaint establishment but rooms are modernized to a high standard with all mod-cons. Staff was wonderful--friendly and helpful. Great breakfast selection and a nice roof-top terrace for afternoon drinks. Seems small but with big hotel facilities (like fast laundry). One of our best hotel experiences in recent years. Great location as well, near tram stop to get to old town or castle in a few stops.

Best breakfast buffet we’ve ever had. Too many choices to eat at once. Rooftop terrace was a lovely place to have a nightcap and take in the view. Sauna/spa was a great value. Spent 3 nights and every receptionist was very hospitable and helpful. Maybe a mile easy walk to all the sites but enjoyed the quiet neighborhood of its location. Would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends
The only small complaint might be the day motorcycle noise from the window if trying to take an afternoon nap. Our room outlooked to the street

Great welcome on arrival. The room was great, separate room for my son, and nice sitting area. Windows are skylights with blinds. There is a terrace accessed by stairs outside our room. Roof top view and a nice sitting area. There are air conditioning units in the rooms which we didn't need to use. Gorgeous coffee in dining room. Staff v helpful
There were a few minor issues. A bin that wouldn't open by foot in the bathroom. You shouldn't have to open a bin by hand. The couch in room is stained. Surely a spot wash would clean this quickly. Breakfast is boring. There are lots small dishes with nothing of substance. Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon rashers, and small sausages available every morning. There is a toaster , but one double side does not work. V little choice in cereals. Juice v diluted.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was so kind and told us every important thing about the hotel and recommended great restaurants.
The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety.
It is not in the middle of the city centre, but a lot of tram goes to the centre each 5 minute. (The Charles bridge is about 25 minutes by walk).That's why it is a very calm and quiet hotel.
I absolutely recommend it! Five star!
