I loved that this iconic hotel is a bit further away from the busy city center. You can still easily go see al the sights by catching a tram close to the hotel. The parking is closed and guarded, but it might get full rather quickly if there are many guests at the hotel. We got upgraded to a family room from a standard double room. That was a nice plus. The breakfast was delicious and a great variety of food was available for every taste. The lobby and hotel bar are out of a movie set. A man was playing on the piano in the morning and in the evening.
The furniture in the room was a bit dated but still functional. We did catch a conference taking place at the hotel, which meant a lot of guests and a bit more waiting for the elevators.

Nice and old fashioned hotel. We felt like being in 80ties :) Locations is very good. Bus station in front of the hotel and 1 stop to get to Metro.

The staff is very friendly and helpful; especially at the reception but also at the restaurant. We had a big room with nice view. Beds are comfortable. There was a bathtub. It’s a historic building. They provide complimentary bottle of wine in the room and a bottle of water on departure. We also got dental kits on request. Will be happy to stay again.
There is no complimentary water in the room. Aircon didn’t work very well for us - it was either too cold or finally too hot (when we changed the settings). Location is ok but not right at the metro (10 min walk or one bus stop).

They say they "ugraded" us to executive room but it was same as the one I booked. So not much of an upgrade.
