Exceptional
The perfect choise - very nice looking hotel with clean and modern room. One of the best moment there was the breakfast - rich sweden tables, great place to eat and caretaking staff. We will return there for sure.

Location, executive rooms and breakfast were all very good. Staff were friendly, the Armstrong Bar was welcoming.
When I pay a decent amount for a hotel room for a week, I am surprised to have to pay to use the gym! The presence of the gym was one of my reasons for selecting the hotel.
The closure of the Sky Bar was disappointing, I was very much looking forward to cocktails up there.

A decent and clean hotel which probaly has various types of rooms. Unfortunately we had just a basic, standard room that didn't justify the rate we paid. We have had better rooms than that in 3 star hotels.
The room was dated, with old furniture, faulty shower head, a very slippery bathtub,
Basic limited toiletries,enough just for one person.
The bed had polyester bedsheets and duvet &pillows of poor quality, cheap.
Definitely not a good value for money.
The room we had would worth max 70 euros/night in any country in Europe.
We paid approx 320 euros for two nights.
Distance is 15 min to the old town by tram No.18 .
When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, the carpark was full, no spaces for hotel guests. It took a while to find a space,only to park somewhere in the mud with the guidance of the security person. But the parking was free.
The breakfast is great, lots of choices for everyone. The coffee is average. Staff at breakfast are watching you constantly and it feels like they are rushing you to finish your breakfast quickly, trying to remove plates from the table, that are not even empty.
Also the housekeepers tend to disturb the guests, by talking very loudly on the corridor.
The receptionists on all shifts were polite and helpful,they tried to assist us with a request we had.
The lobby is very nice, same as the bar area.We had some cocktails there.

Room was lovely and spacious, very clean and neat, nice to have the sofa area for some extra space and the beds were lovely and comfy. Christmas decorations and free mulled wine were an added festive bonus!
Unfortunately the Grand Bar was closed for renovation during our stay so we didn't get to enjoy a drink with a view. The only other issue we had was that the hotel was a bit far away from the areas of the city that we were spending most of our time, however it was very quick and easy to get Ubers around town.
