A place I will definitely return to.
The hotel is cozy, warm, and rich in history, where everyone truly cares about the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. Location more than perfect! The breakfast is fantastic, the rooms are impeccably clean, the linens wonderfully soft, and the welcome genuinely family-like.
I wish the hotel many guests and hope that this family business continues for a very long time.
The soundproofing is a little lacking, but everything else is so perfect that you hardly even notice it.

Classy, family owned place. Really tasteful. Old fashioned but not worn around the edges. Amazing breakfast, had everything you could think of. Friendly helpful staff. One of the best hotels, I e ever stayed in, and doesn’t break the budget

Thomas was an exceptional host. He was friendly, knowledgable, engaging and sincere. The facilities were beautifully maintained in the art deco style. The breakfast provided food for every taste and food of high quality---a lovely display of care. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Hastal.
I can thing of nothing that I would change during my stay.

Breakfast was good. Lots of variety to choose from each day.
We enjoyed sitting in the library lounge with tea in the late afternoon.
The desk receptionists were very helpful with directions and suggestions of restaurants nearby.

My stay at the Prague Hastal Hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge variety to choose from, and the “anytime” espresso machine was such a thoughtful touch — I used it often!
What really made the stay stand out was the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and attentive at every turn. I especially appreciated the charming detail of turning in our room key (a real key with a classic, heavy banker’s key chain) whenever we left the hotel — it added a unique old-world charm while also making everything easier.
This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Everything was unbelievably good. Starting with the first face to face meeting with the reception clerk, the welcome drink, the free mineral water in the room, the fact that despite being in an old building there was an elevator, everything and I mean everything was perfect plus.
The location is unbelievably good, roughly ten minutes walk to the astronomical clock, twenty minutes to the Karl bridge, everything is near.
If necessary, a bus station is across the street and the tram station is four minutes walk away. You can reach every site you want easily.
The Palladium shopping center is less than ten minutes walking away and an excellent Czech restaurant is 40 meters from the Hotel. If you don't find place in the Lokal, cross the road for another great place to eat in.
All in all, a perfect holiday in a perfect place in a Fairytale City.
You need to dig VERY hard to find anything wrong. The building is very old, so the first time we entered our room it had an unpleasant smell, typical of old places. We have opened the window every day for half an hour and the smell was gone...Really no issue

An absolutely wonderful place. I stayed 16 nights and was extraordinarily comfortable, I would happily have stayed much longer. The hotel is beautiful and artistic, the bed was comfortable, it was very quiet at night, the shower was hot. The staff were universally friendly, helpful, and kind and gave me advice whenever I needed it. The breakfast was very generous with a ton of options, everything available from very filling to very light and savory to sweet (three kinds of eggs, fine cheese, fresh bread, chicken, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, much much more more). It was fantastic to just wander downstairs and get ready for the day over coffee and a lot of food. The hotel bar had good drinks and the bartenders were friendly. It is in a quiet square, so no noise at night, but still close to everything and easy to get around. The patio is pleasant and so is the hotel lounge. They have AC and elevators. Lots of restaurant options nearby. I would love, love, love to come back. It is a family run hotel and it really shows that they care.

First of the staff was exceptional! Tom the manager greeted us our first day and was very warm and welcoming!
The two young bartenders were also exceptional and very knowledgeable . Enjoyed our Happy Hour cocktails!!!

Had all the classic european hotel charm with all the modern amenities. Strongly recommend!!!

Breakfast was good. Loved the hot drinks machine and access to coffee whenever we needed it. Loved the ambiance and history of the hotel. Location was excellent. Room was quiet. George at the front desk was especially helpful and friendly.
Maybe one or two front desk employees weren’t so friendly.

The hotel was located in the Prague Old town, and one can easily walk around to see the old buildings, Charles Bridge etc. Breakfast was fine and the room was good with some old cultural designs, comfortable bed with good comforters. The staff were friendly, especially Syed and provided all the required information, details related to Prague.
Felt that the bathroom size can be little bigger.

Everything! Incredible location. I walked to everything. Gorgeous hotel with incredible charm and history. A delicious breakfast with many, many options. They think of everything including coffee and tea and pastries available at all times in the lobby, and a magnificent sitting room in the lobby to relax and on and on. Truly a gem!

Location was great and staff always made us feel welcome. To our surprise there was coffee, and wine in the lobby. The breakfast offered everything. It was quiet and close to the action. Found a great seafood restaurant a block away. The room was clean and comfy. It was easy to walk to all the old town attractions and we always felt safe.
The bar where breakfast was served in the evening was run as a separate operation.
