Great location, lovely room on the top floor. Shower was amazing. Staff were very welcoming with a lovely Italian restaurant attached to the property.
A bit of a musty smell when I entered the room. The window was open when I entered so I suspect someone had been smoking the night before. The curtains let in a bit of light.

Amazing hotel in the most convenient located spot in Prague. Very quiet, extremely clean. The staff was always smiling and friendly. Good job and special thanks to Lisa the receptionist! If you're looking for a hotel in Prague, Golden Crown is the perfect one.

The hotel has an excellent location, directly in the center of Prague, a close walking distance from all main attractions, yet the immediate surroundings are not crowded with people. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, well-designed, with all the necessary amenities and equipment.

We checked into this hotel in the center of Prague expecting at least a basic level of cleanliness and comfort. What we encountered was a complete failure of standards.
There were cockroaches in the room - we saw them both on the bed linen and on the floor. This is a critical violation of sanitation.
But the situation is much worse. There was a strong unpleasant smell in the room, it was simply uncomfortable to be there. The surfaces were not cleaned: a thick layer of dust on the table, by the bed and on the windowsill. In the bathroom - hair everywhere: in the shower, on the floor, even on the bed, and in general the bedding did not look clean, as if it had not been changed. The sink was clogged, which indicates a complete lack of basic maintenance. We asked the cleaning lady to fix the situation, but she was not pleasant and aggressive with us. And she did not want to refill our soap and shampoo.
This is not a matter of “minor flaws” - this is systemic unsanitary conditions and a complete lack of quality control.
We categorically do not recommend this hotel. If you value cleanliness, health and your comfort - it is better to choose another place.

The hotel was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Everything was great. The young girl at the reception was very welcoming and kept offering us chocolate candies. Highly recommended!

Location excellent. Everything we wanted to see was in walking distance.
Room a good size & kept beautifully clean. Good shower with fabulous toiletries.
Breakfast good & ALL staff so pleasant & friendly.
Chocolates at Reception a lovely bonus.
Breakfast decent but hot food was not hot.
Window looked out onto a narrow courtyard , it would have been nice to have a better view.

Breakfast includes all i expected. Position of the hotel is very convenient, in the new town, opposite to Kafka's rotating head. Easy access to the old town square, charle's bridge, wenzeslav square and powder tower. Access to metro and tram is also piece of cake. The italian restaurant at ground level is delicious.
