Stepping through the door, you’re greeted by a spotlessly clean hotel and a professional, helpful and welcoming staff. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and made my day when I was able to check in early.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Don Giovanni. The hotel was clean, bright, well maintained, and offered beautiful views. We stayed in an Executive Room, which was spacious and comfortable, featuring a large double bed, a sofa, a small refrigerator, and a bathroom with a bathtub. The bed, bedding, and pillows were all very comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival, we received a complimentary bottle of wine and a discount card for Prague attractions, which was a nice gesture. The breakfast selection was good and varied, and overall the atmosphere throughout the hotel was enjoyable and relaxing.
There are only a few minor areas that could be improved.
The bathroom is separated from the room by a sliding door. While this saves space, the door is quite heavy to operate and provides very little sound insulation, which can affect privacy. A small entrance area with separate doors could improve comfort, although I understand the current layout is likely designed to maximize space.
We also had access to the Executive Lounge. In our opinion, the rooftop terrace is relatively small considering the size of the hotel, and its view overlooks a busy street rather than Prague’s main landmarks. The food selection in the lounge was rather limited compared to similar executive lounges in hotels of the same category. While there was a good selection of cakes and pastries, there were no sandwiches available, only small filled croissants. Unfortunately, the croissants did not seem very fresh. Overall, we did not feel that the Executive Lounge provided enough additional value to justify paying extra for it.
Breakfast was enjoyable, but larger tea cups or teapots would be appreciated. The coffee from the machine was average, and the apple juice appeared heavily diluted. Since breakfast is often one of the highlights of a hotel stay, improving the quality of the coffee and juices would make a noticeable difference. Adding items such as avocado and smoked salmon would elevate the breakfast experience even further.

- Really good location, slightly out of town but immediately above a Metro station so in terms of time was actually closer to key attractions than being in the city.
- Staff were friendly and approachable.
- Fantastic room and hotel, facilities were brilliant.
- Breakfast was great, wide variety and lots of space.
- Not a core part of the hotel experience, but I paid over €80 for a 90-minute massage and this didn't include access to the spa, was my only disappointment in the stay.

This hotel is exceptional! One of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff were amazing and very kind. We were also greeted with early check in and and a welcome bottle of lovely wine. They had complimentary 'white company' hair and body washes. The room was massive! And lots of choice of entertainment on the TV. The breakfast was amazing! With lots of choice, even it's very own children's breakfast corner and gluten free selection. I loved everything about this hotel and can't wait to stay again! Definitely up there with the best hotel in Prague. The location is great too, there is lovely restaurants on the main road, and also a mall within 10 mins walk. very easy to get to central too, we walked and it took 30-40 mins, but lots to see along the way. Tram and bus station just outside and was very quick into town.
