Our bedroom was on the top floor and the ceiling sloped over our bed so low that you had to be careful not to bang your head.

Tiny tiny bathroom; thin mattress; no air con or temp control - must open window and it’s VERY noisy with bar crowd in streets til 2am. I couldn’t sleep.

The location is the hotel’s strongest point. It is very central, close to public transportation, attractions, restaurants, and cafes. The small complimentary gifts, such as vouchers, a bottle of water, and a souvenir magnet at checkout, were appreciated. Unfortunately, almost everything else was disappointing. The room looked very different from the photos online and felt much smaller and less appealing in reality. Another major issue was the lack of air conditioning. My room faced the street, and because there are bars surrounding the hotel, opening the window at night was impossible due to the constant noise, shouting, and late-night activity outside. As a result, I had to choose between sleeping in a hot, stuffy room with only a fan or dealing with unbearable noise. The beds were also far from comfortable. The mattresses felt old and worn out, with tired springs that made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was by far the worst part of my stay. It was unbelievably small. As a tall and larger-built person, moving around was extremely difficult. The shower area was so cramped that I had to step out into the main room just to dry myself because there simply wasn’t enough space. Had I known how tiny the bathroom was, I would not have booked this hotel. I do not recall seeing any realistic photos of it before making the reservation. I also experienced an uncomfortable situation with a member of staff. Because of my alternative appearance and style of dress, an employee appeared to assume that I did not belong at the hotel. She followed me and stared at me until I approached her and asked if everything was okay. It was awkward, uncomfortable, and left a bad impression. Overall, despite the excellent location, this stay was a major disappointment. What was supposed to be a romantic weekend turned into a frustrating experience. I would not choose to stay here again.

The only downsides are the lack of air conditioning and the relatively high price.

Room on the small side, a bit dark, could use updating, nicer/ lighter color scheme. Smoking on the outside patio. Reception area could be more appealing.

The noise from next door and from the hallway - the room needs to be better insulated.

The beds were way too soft - all 4 people in our party thought so. and I didnt appreciate that we never received more than 2 tiny tubes of body wash/shampoo and 1 of lotion despite being there for 3 nights! Also, having a hook or two to hang clothes in the bathroom would be great.

The shower is really too small and should be refurbished. The walls are a bit thin (one day, a bear was snoring in the next room, I slept at 4 AM). There is no air conditioning.

Nothing - it was perfect.
