The room was fantastic visited for four nights in June, reception staff friendly and efficient. We don't usually book breakfast during hotel stays but so pleased we did as it was a fantastic selection on offer. We walked and used trams to see the sights of the beautiful clean and safe city the hotel is in an ideal location, the hotel was busy but our room at night was so quiet. Would recommend.

The room was spacious with beautiful marble décor, particularly in the bathroom. The shower had good water pressure, and robes and slippers were provided. The lobby was absolutely breathtaking.
The shower head pointed down so much that the water was barely hitting me. On the first night, it sprayed water all over the bathroom floor because it wasn’t fitted properly. By the 3rd and 4th nights, the problem seemed to have sorted itself out.

Central to both new and old town ( 12 min walk ) . Quiet at night. Breakfast was a wonderful buffet breakfast of both continental & cooked style. Omelettes made to order salad & fruit bar.

Check in was excellent. Staff were amazing. Good location and clean comfortable rooms.
One lift not operational made it very difficult moving through the hotel. Multiple times lifts would open full. Breakfast was decent but always extremely busy and chaotic.

Not the most helpful staff. Poor staff support/direction during fire alarm overnight during the stay. Facilities and amenities available in rooms and room set ups not at level of 5 star hotel (would recommend staying at a bigger multinational hotel chain if wanting this experience)

Everything to do with this hotel from was good, the breakfast, to the bar staff etc. Location was excellent for us, close to the railway station in came in from Zermatt (~600m), to being in easy walking distant to the old town (~900m) to having good restaurants close by. I would recommend going to breakfast earlier rather than later as it became quite busy later during the breakfast period.
The lifts were getting a little old and making a lot of noise.
