Staff were helpful especially as we arrived with two in boxes. Room was nicely decorated and good size. Close to the old town, plenty of shops including Lidl very close by.
Shower over the bath, so we had to be careful it didn’t spill onto the floor.

From the welcome to the farewell gestures, everything felt thoughtful. On arrival, you're offered a drink, ice cream, bottled water and a special gift, which you'll discover for yourself when you choose to stay with them. The staff communicate really well among themselves. You'll notice that if you make a verbal request, whether to a trainee or one of the regular staff, it's usually dealt with within minutes. The facilities are more than enough. There's a spa, gym and parking, and the location is ideal for sightseeing, with the train station only a two-minute walk away. The breakfast was indeed 5-star. Even if you're not into breakfast in the morning, this one will tempt you to have it. The variety was excellent, everything was fresh, and there was something to suit every taste. What stood out most to me was the way I was treated throughout my stay. I felt like every member of staff made me a priority, and that made all the difference.

The location is good. It's about 10-12 minute walk to the astronomical clock and main square. It's also a quick walk to the Palladium shopping center.
The worse part is the utter lack of basic cleanliness! The entire place smells of something that we could determine - but it wasn't wholesome! In places it seemed like a smell of old laundry or wet carpet. The linens in our room did not look particularly clean. We found long hair strands in our bed. Probably the cleaning lady's. The staff in general, especially at reception were terribly unfriendly. They acted like we were doing the a favor staying at the hotel. Breakfast was nothing special. Average in quality. The dining room staff were unfriendly and even rude. They would fly by tables and just grab unfinished plates off of tables (including mine) without asking if the guest was finished. We will not stay at this hotel again!
