The boutique Golden Well hotel is in one of the best locations in Prague, with Prague Castle right next door, a 10-minute walk from Charles Bridge and 3 minutes from Lesser Town Square. Overlooking Prague's romantic rooftops or the Royal Gardens, the comfortable rooms have air conditioning, a minibar and satellite TV and an Apple TV. The bathrooms are provided with bathrobes and slippers. Guests are welcomed with a drink and complimentary shoe-shine service is provided. Free Wi-Fi access, a DVD library, luggage packing and unpacking, as well as an evening turn-down service, are just 4 of a great range of luxurious amenities available at the Golden Well hotel. The restaurant, which is decorated in an elegant style with elements of the Renaissance era, is on the 4th floor. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views from the open-air terrace of the Golden Well. After lunch, a walk in the Royal Garden of Prague Castle (during opening hours) can be enjoyed. This Renaissance-style building belonged to the Emperor Rudolf II (1552-1612) and once served as the residence of the legendary astronomer Tycho de Brahe (1546-1601).

Prague is a magical city and the Golden Well staff are amazing.
We were sad that we didn’t book dinner in advance and the restaurant was sold out during our stay.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. You are treated like royalty. Fresh fruit was provided in the room and complementary snacks are available in a common room. Cakes are delivered to your room every evening. Breakfast included some nice options. Gluten free bread was supplied.
Visitors should be aware that it’s up quite a steep and narrow cobble road and that the rooms are upstairs. There’s an elevator from the first floor but stairs from the ground floor. I read other reviews so was aware but something everyone should note before visiting especially if you have any sort of mobility issues.

We loved the property. Staff was amazing and so was the hotel.
We thought the location was great for us. But it was up a hill with no car access so if you have trouble walking not a good place. We are walkers so it was fine.

Exceptional. Everything has been beyond and above. The location, the room, the amenities and the breakfast. A special mention to the ladies whO run the breakfast. Quality is the word that sums up my whole experience. Highly recommended to people who respect their leisure time and their budget.

Location was perfect - at the end of a quiet street, but, 4 minute walk to activity Comfortable rooms with attention to details - music, fine bedding, nightly turn down with slippers and dessert treat Small cozy lounge with wine and edibles from 4:00 to 6:00 Breakfast room has an expansive view, a full breakfast offering and a professional staff The hotel offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere - perfect after a day of touring activities Without hesitation, I would stay here again and recommend it to others
Upon arrival, the gentleman at reception was completely knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and arranged a guide for us. While all staff members were extremely polite, in the following days, some of the reception staff were not as knowledgeable. That said, everyone did take care of all of our request.
