The location is great. Close to all the tourist attractions. Rooms are nice and clean. Room service provides you with a sweet compliment - a small snack (cranberries and nuts). I was particularly impressed finding cotton pads in the bathroom! This is a small detail that girls tend to forget and then struggle with removing makeup in the evening. Very well-thought!
I had to leave early before the breakfast time so the room service prepared a lunch box for me.
Nothing worth mentioning.

Location is very nice 5 minutes walk from charles bridge and the structure too is very nice. The breakfast is a normal breakfast nothing special.
Rooms with some dust, minibar expensive, even the water is expensive and in a 4 star hotel you expect to find water for free. Shower box was badly damaged and it almost fell on me. The staff was informed about that but nothing was done.

This hotel is everything you can expect from a hotel. Comfy room with the most excellent service from the staff. We had a medical emergencies on our trip and ended up staying in the hotel room for 4 days straight.
The staffs were very friendly, super attentive and go above and beyond- especially Ms. Gelina (Im pretty sure thats her name), she helped us a LOT. From getting us early checked in, the non stop ice for the feet (we had sprained ankle), even helped us order food online since both of our apps just somehow didnt work.
Im very grateful that we were in Prague, to be precise in this hotel, when we had the worst time.
Thank you very much for all the wonderful experiences Prague and Golden Key Hotel - we definitely will come back.
PS: Ms. Gelina, if you every come to Houston, let me know, Ill take you to the best BBQ place here.

Location was nice right in the old town
The rooms we were in were of a nice size - in the summer may be convenient
The rooms we were put in were nothing like the Pictures- in the first room there was no windows, apart from a little rooflight, the room was an only room on level 0, and it felt like a storage room made to be a regular room (we were told by the staff that we got an "upgrade" but later on it appeared that our room was taken so probably someone didnt want to stay in the room we were put in). We were moved to a different room that was in the basement (-1 level under the stairs). After repeated problems with warm water in both rooms (there was only cold water) and broken bathroom heaters (the hot water came once and the towels were wet as dump) as well as basically 2 days living in a very very cold rooms (I know it's autumn and its an old building) we decided to shorten our stay and move to a different hotel - which was the best decision ever.
Fyi upon decision to shorten our stay we were offered a different room on a higher floor but honestly we were already fed up enough not to take it.

The hotel location was excellent and the staff were professional. Breakfast was good but not exceptional. Bathroom products- excellent.
The room was NOTHING like the photos advertised on Booking nor the hotel website. Very dark- even lights were very dim, murky and a tiny window. We were on the very top floor. On the final night we were offered the chance to move (3rd floor) and though there were two small windows the room was again very dark, dimly lit even with all the lamps and lights on. A real disappointment as Id researched extensively to locate this room for a special trip.

The hotel is located in a historic area, near the castle complex. Although it was a busy neighbourhood, it was a calm neighbourhood.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast time was something to looking forward to as it was diverse, with local produce and really tasty.
The room didn't have air-conditioning. Fortunately, there was a powerful standing fan which really provided some comfort as at the time Prague was suffering the consequences of a heatwave.

Overall we had a pleasant experience at Golden Key Hotel.
The location is absolutely great, the hotel is right in the city center, on a beautiful street. The Prague Castle, St Nicholas Church and the Charles Bridge are just a few minutes away.
There are many shops and restaurants around the hotel, so you can find anything you need. The bus and tram stop are also very close.
The staff was polite, very helpful and gave us some useful recommendations about the city. They also allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel until check-in.
Breakfast was pretty good, tasty and had many options available.
The hotel is in a beautiful, old building, but it could use some renovation. Our room had an overall worn-out look and there was some mold on the bathroom walls, which can be unpleasant if you have allergies.
Also, the ventilation was not great. In our room there was no AC, only a fan, which was fine during autumn, but I think it would get way too hot during summer. Even when the temperature outside was about 25 C degrees, it was quite warm in the room.
