- Location of the property was absolutely perfect. Being in the Centro Storico meant we were just a quick, easy walk from the Duomo and major attractions, saving us so much time on travel. - The staff was responsive and attentive. Any request we made, such as for local recommendations, was handled quickly and with genuine warmth. - The room cleaner was flexible and very helpful. We especially appreciated their willingness to work around our schedule and their helpfulness with any small needs we had such as providing us a heater. making our stay much smoother.
The breakfast was basic, lacking the variety and generally sticking to standard continental fare. Furthermore, the property itself presented some architectural challenges common to Prague's city-center accommodations: the building was old, albeit renovated and clean, which often led to noticeable noise issues. Thin walls or poor sound insulation from the street below, caused disruption in sleep. This issue is compounded by the hotel's prime location right on the bustling Na Příkopě shopping street.

The rooms themselves were nice, and once in, it felt very comfortable. Although noisy with the windows open, it was brilliantly quiet when they were shut. An easy walk to the city centre.
The hotel is a few rooms on the top floor of what felt like a civic office building. You pass through concertina gates to get to the building, then via a reception kiosk on the ground floor, where you’re directed to go up to the fifth floor, which is as far as the lift goes, then up a few tight stairs to the sixth floor, where you find a tiny roof terrace and reception and a row of a few rooms. Everything was clean and the rooms were nice. The location is convenient but the road and the general building didn’t feel that great returning to late at night - but that’s as a woman on her own. And everything worked out fine (but I’d pick a different location another time).
