This is one of the oldest hotels in Prague in service since 1927. Most of the interior is preserved and is stunning. Staff are exceptional take my word for it. When you call, a human being answers within one ring, not some computer in Mumbai. Location is a few hundred meters from the railway station. Shower is fantastic finally a strong jet again. Breakfast is good. Minibar has reasonable prices for once.
The rooms are old fashioned and so is the furniture. The one thing I really did not like are the carpeted floors I hope the will change this with the next update.

-It was close to the main places to visit.
-All shops and restaurants were closed and around.
-The bill boys were amazing and very helpful.
-I wish there were surveillance cameras in the hotel restaurant, but unfortunately there aren't.
-The feeling is that the staff are working without satisfaction, as they are not as welcoming compared to other hotels.
-The female restaurant workers are not qualified for the job, as they do not smile and are not welcoming to guests. To the point that at breakfast time, they were taking some types of food from the buffet and putting them in their pockets, like boiled eggs.
-As we know, most hotel buffets in the world close the breakfast buffet at 10 or 10.30 in the morning, but they do not turn off the lights on the guests, they only close the buffet.
-In this hotel, the buffet closed at 10:00 AM.
Strangely, and I have never seen anything like it in my life, as I travel a lot and stay in 4 or 5-star hotels around the world, the staff turned off the lights on people.
This is what happened to us, and even stranger, it happened to us for 3 consecutive days, 5 minutes after the buffet closed, and there were more than seven tables occupied by guests, most of whom were families with their children, the waitress was standing next to the buffet and tapping on it with her hands, signaling us to leave the restaurant.
The scene was extremely inappropriate.
-This was the worst thing I saw on my trip to Prague.

The location is excellent, just 5 walk from main train station, the same distance to the main - Wenceslas square.
The hotel is below 5 stars in many aspects except for the rate. Small room, uncomfortable bath with plastic curtain, water temperature from shower constantly changing, breakfast restaurant smelling from fried onions, no lobby bar

Very cosy and all providing hotel. Rooms are comfortable with enough room for relax and business. Stable wi-fi allowed me to work and stream meetings. Clean and tidy. Staff of the hotel was helpful and nice. Close to the train station and the city centre. Surroundings were calm and secure.
