Hotel Élite is housed in a building dating back to the 14th century. Originally a Renaissance house, the building underwent a significant Baroque reconstruction, with later additions of Classical elements such as a staircase and a mansard roof. Guests can still admire the original Baroque beams, wooden ceilings, paintings, and stucco decorations in the rooms and hallways. The building was first used as accommodations in 1723 on the occasion of the coronation of Charles VI. Today, it offers all modern amenities including the 24/7 Front Desk. Each room with attached bathroom comes with free Wi-Fi, flatscreen TV, a safety box and facilities for making coffee or tea. Parking is available for an additional fee and has to be reserved in advance via a hotel reception. The hotel is located in one of Prague’s liveliest areas, full of shops, theaters, cinemas, restaurants and bars, just a few steps from public transport and within walking distance of the city's most significant landmarks, in a place that also witnessed the famous Velvet Revolution. At the same time, it is tucked away from the busiest crowds in a side street, offering guests peace and relaxation - whether with a drink at the hotel bar or the hotel garden, soaking in the unique atmosphere of this historic location.

Ancient building from 1300's modernized into cozy luxe rooms with high ceilings and beams and painted ceilings. Fancy traditional doors, courtyard views so it was quiet. Very rich buffet breakfast of many items. Consistently happy and friendly staff.

The air con did not stay on. Every few hours I had to wake up in the middle of the night to turn it back on to cool the room down.

A lovey, cosy, friendly hotel. It's in a old building (arched ceilings, spiral stairs, exposed beams) but newly decorated, clean and comfortable. The rooms had real character - our room was a bit small and awkwardly laid out, but this wasn't a problem. With an upper level, courtyard-facing room, it was really peaceful - even with the windows open at night. (It's worth asking for that on the booking!). Although located just off a busy, bustling street with very easy tram access, it really felt like a calm oasis. There's a lovely courtyard with seating - a great place for a drink after a days sightseeing. I think the single biggest plus of this hotel is the staff - every single person we engaged with (reception, bar staff, restaurant, etc) were incredibly friendly, and more than happy to help. A good breakfast setup, too. There's the option to take breakfast out in the courtyard, too.
Really, nothing to dislike at all.

Great location. Comfortable and good sized room We were on the 1st floor. The British pub across the road was really noisy. It was great how insulated the room was so unless you had the window open there was minimal noise. Good selection at breakfast. Close to tram stops and walkable to most things.

Good location. Staff helpful. Comfortable bed with good cotton duvets. Nice choice of breakfast
Small room. No storage space to talk of. Very small space next to bed so getting in/out was difficult. TV not working on 1st day. We were assured someone would come to fix it that evening. They didn't. On booking an excursion through them we were assured we would be picked up at the hotel, so we chose to book through them rather than directly online (which would have been cheaper). They insisted we had to pay cash (?!) for this, and once we had we were told nobody would pick us up.! After admitting their mistake, and after some insistence they did provide a taxi for us f.o.c.

Location next to a hostel and across from a noisy sports bar was not ideal, but we never felt unsafe. However, we did not stay out late in the evening. Inside the hotel is much nicer than the outside!
