Wanted a hotel that was authentic but had the modern requirements, this definitely fit the bill, the quaintness of the hotel was lovely.
The breakfast was plentiful with everything you could want.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was just the right size with comfy beds, pillows and amenities.
Exceptionally clean which is important to us.
Ideal location.
Due to the tiled floors and hard wooden doors it was quite noisy, especially early morning and late evenings.
Our friends stayed in a room at the front of the hotel and did fins the outside noise very bad, often keeping them awake until the early hours.
The loud American, possibly, member of staff on the reception, very opinionated and brash, did not suit the quiet surroundings of the hotel and don't appreciate hearing staff swear or have personal opinions on matters.

The staff was very kind and welcoming. The hotel is very well located, central yet quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was good, with freshly made omelettes and smoked salmon available. The room was small but comfortable. There is also a private wellness area with a jacuzzi and sauna, which can be booked for €40 per hour.
In the evening, we could sometimes hear noise from the neighboring room. Breakfast can be limited if you arrive later in the morning (around 9:30–9:40), as some items were not always replenished. We also used the private wellness area, which was nice overall, but the sauna was not properly heated during our time slot and only started warming up when our hour was almost over. These are minor details, though, and overall we had a very nice stay.

Very central location, easy to walk around but also a tram station and metro close by. Rooms are quirky, we were on floor 2 which had a slanted roof and sky light. Staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was great, especially the omelette station, the lady working on there set me up for the day ahead. Lounge bar was small but nice and reasonably priced.
It’s an old building so has its quirks. Corridors are tiled and can be quite noisy, especially when people are wheeling suitcases and chatting. In our room an old wooden beam came across the shower meaning it could only be used as a sit down shower / bath. It was freezing outside but the rooms are well heated with radiators. They can be adjusted but ours was hidden behind the mini bar which took a bit of finding.

They only confirmed single beds on check in, which was disappointing for 2 lady travellers. Pity the restaurant is closed.

The temperature inside was too warm for our liking in the winter, but cracking the windows. Fixed it. If ypu are looking for luxury. This is not for you! But you are looking for historical and vintage. This is for you!

The location is great, the stuff is very friendly. I recommend the rooms on the lower floor since it feels bigger because the room on the 3rd floor has ceiling that is lower at the windows.

Fabulous location, very comfortable and lovely breakfast. You have to pay extra for spa facilities but this is for private use and worth the price.
Small lift, could have had a few more seats in the bar area as this was popular! Minor points though, was lovely overall

Only good things to say!! The staff were super helpful and assisted us in everything we needed, whether it be making reservations, providing additional towels, directions and ordering cabs. Very warm and friendly atmosphere, and the rooms were beautifully presented, clean, quiet and private. No noise from the hallways or street, and very close walking distance to the Old Town Square and every other attraction in the city, as well as restaurants and bars. Definitely recommend!!
