The location, the cleanliness, the comfort and the beautiful decor.
There is no elevator. We were on level one. It we were on higher it would’ve been difficult as our cases were 20Kg. Ask for the first floor.

Lovely, large, quiet and atmospheric room, very comfortable bed with well-furnished seating area, good amenities and room services, great part of the city, close to everything.
A little on the dark side and no lift, we were on the third floor!

Our stay at Domus Balthasar was amazing. The size of the room, especially for an older city like Prague, was amazing. Extremely roomy and beautiful furnishings. The location in the Old Town was perfect for us.
There were some issues with water supply that were out of the property's control and effected our stay for a day.

Great to be in this heritage building with its elegant proportions and lovely details. Good looks and location - it was everything I needed. There’s no reception, but I don’t need that.

Literally steps away from the Charles Bridge, easy walking distance to Old Town, Prague Castle and public transport to further places. Beautifully furnished and all amenities were available.
As it is in an old building there was no lift so the daily 2 flights of narrow, uneven stairs may be hard for those less mobile. Fans were provided but I imagine it might get quite hot in the summer (you could open the windows but street noise might keep you up). Bathroom was nicely decorated but the way the showers were designed/installed meant it was very easy for water to splash our and potentially “flood” the bathroom (which happened once during our stay), so be careful how you position the showerhead!

Beautiful apartment, comfortable, excellent breakfast around the corner every day included. Friendly staff that made check in and out so easy! Right on the edge of Charles Bridge, couldn't get a better location.
We expected this when we booked the attic room but it was many stairs up each day!

Location, Clean, Spacious, modern yet withheld the look of the area, loved all the windows and exercise from the stairs. The Nespresso machine was great and this hotel is next door to a grocery store.
Everything was great but I think one more fan would help with the heat.

We most appreciated the location inside the city (close to main attractions), its panoramic view and its furniture and style (wooden rafters in sight).
The location of the bathtub under the angled rooftop was uncomfortable and cramped. Also, the pillows were excessively soft.

Lovely location. Right at the Charles Bridge and close to the John Lennon walk. Central but not noisy. The breakfast was delicious. Room was spotless and so comfortable.
We were really warm - but there was a fan to plug in
