Excellent and quiet location beneath the castle. Nice breakfast in a lovely glass covered courtyard
We’ve been coming to the Neruda Hotel since 2012. It was always a delight. But it seems to have undergone a “design” renovation under new management. The results can only be described as “bad design”. We had a sub par experience this time around, beginning with a listless and unfriendly welcome. Our “design superior” room could only be reached by elevator and then by following a maze of stairs and blind corridors - a feat of navigation that the man at reception didn’t even bother to mention much less explain. We finally located our room only to find there was no shower only a tub in the middle of the room and a toilet behind a glass swinging door. We tried to change the room with no success. At least the room we booked for our kids had a shower. But the towel provided had a hole that you could put your head through. We are sad at what happened to a once beloved hotel.

Beautiful hotel and building, very friendly and helpful staff.
We were made aware at time of booking the apartment did not have AC, we were told fans would be provided.
This was the hottest three days in recorded history but no fans were provided.
We only slept in the room for two nights, as the heat was unbearable.
The front desk person manning it was not at the front desk (probably due to the unbearable heat) and we always needed to look for.

Incredible Location!!! Directly under (200m walk) the Prague castle. Beautifully furnished rooms with incredible, thoughtful and detailed service by all the staff. The Breakfast was exactly what you expect from a high level hotel, with fresh ingredients and juice clearly used. Its a short walk from the bus station, and there are several very good "local" restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The Charles Bridge and Old town is a 15 minute (downhill :-) ) walk, but I suggest a bus or uber back, as the uphill is VERY steep.

Great location, excellent breakfast. The guy at the reception was very welcoming and i could store my bag there before checking in and after checking out.
I expected to have a bathtub as was shown in the booking- but there was no bathtub in the room.

The room, the breakfast, the exceptional warming and professionalism by all the staff members. Breakfast is fabulous! The girls are beautiful.
They should had cleaned my room everyday. I noticed that only my towels were getting changed. I guess as we pay by the days we stay, we should expect a full hotel service all the nights we stay. That didn't happen, but I am an easy dude to get along with everyone.

Location of the hotel is just perfect. Away from bustling streets of Prag, very close to castle...
Rooms are spacious and very clean.
Staffs are friendly.
Breakfast was excellent and breakfast staffs was extra sweet...
Dont hesitate to stay here...

Breakfast was the best buffet I've ever had. Completely worth it.
The blowdryer - you have to continually hold the button to make it work, and it still has very low power. I do wish there was a way to know and make a future booking for the spa. I had a really wonderful experience. I only wish I could have booked it for another time if I had known a little more in advance.

Great location near the castle. Creatively renovated joined buildings. Has Jan Neruda history. Wonderful staff. We stayed in the two small attic rooms which were very cozy and well-appointed. The breakfast buffet was delicious - so much fresh bread, fruit, eggs and more to choose from. Great value!
