Location was good for me and it was a smart tidy hotel
My television didn’t work when I first got to the room but I told reception and upon my return later in the day all was working well.
There was a leak from the shower onto the bathroom floor which I reported but was still evident for the duration of my stay

Awful staff and far from a 5-star attitude. Everything was wrong with the whole reservation process, check-in process, the stay, and mostly the check-out process! Upon reservation, they charged my card with much more money than the actual reservation! When we arrived they were unwilling to solve it even after my many messages through booking. Also, I have booked twin beds and they have confirmed it, but on arrival, there was only 1 bed. In the end, they said that they are sorry and they will give me a complimentary parking, but at the check out there was another staff member and they made me pay 40 euros more and said their colleague never offered complimentary parking. All in all, the hotel was very old, smelly, and had dirty carpets, the room was very dark and had a strange noise inside. Stay away from this hotel, if you don't want to ruin your vacation or business trip, as in my case. Instead of having a rest from the long travel I had to deal with some stupidity and uncooperative staff. And not only that but they made me pay something like 8 euros for a bottle of water I drank in my room, which was left on top of the desk. It's the first time I've stayed in a 5-star hotel that doesn't provide complimentary water to the guests. For me, this is not more than a 3-star hotel, even a 2-star based on Western European criteria.

This hotel is in a great location. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was a good size, comfortable and clean however I would say that it is more of a 4 star hotel than a 5 star.
There was a bit of a mix up with the payment as when it was converted into sterling it worked out more expensive than quoted. The staff were very understanding about this and the matter was resolved.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant, Next Door, was superb. Nothing was a trouble. Helped with bookings for a concert, could answer all the questions from buying fresh milk to changing money.
Sadly Ii could nit stay longer.
